Very pleasantly surprised by this quaint looking shop. Looks very ordinary. Something you'd expect from a typical asian food store. I ordered the Chicken Katsu Curry for 9.90. It came in a takeaway box. Dont be fooled by the size of the box. It was jam packed with fried chicken, potato and curry goodness. Rice was cooked perfectly. Not too wet or dry, the texture was just right. When its drenched in that thick golden curry, it doesnt get to soggy and coats each grain of rice just nice. Katsu wasn't overcooked it retained its juices and it was real crispy on the outside. Potatoes weren't skinned. Would've been better if they did so that the texture of the potatoes with with grainier if that makes sense to you. The curry was just so good. They didnt water it down and it retained it creaminess with just the right degree of burn from the spice. Love what their doing. They should have a student price meal to attract the crowd they deserve to have. Fun fact ! The shop is actually run by koreans ! Cool stuff !
The best takeaway shop in st Lucia area. The karaage chicken is genuinely delicious and all sushi is fresh. The owners are very lovely and will recognise you if you go in multiple times. Best option for students looking for a quick delicious meal.
I've eaten here for about 13 years now, food hasn't changed much. It's cheap fast Japanese food. I like it, and it's why I keep coming back. Convenient as is perfect for a quick, easy eat. I get the Karaage Curry +chilli powder each time. The fried rice ain't bad either. I think you need to have the right expectations. This is a store in a student area selling budget food to students. If you are looking for a high quality, fancy lunch/dinner, go elsewhere. Otherwise, it's satisfying.
Constantly putting prices up as they lower/maintain portion size. You can't get good ratings when you do this in a university district, you're dealing with people that don't have a sustainable income, know your demographics! By the way this is run by koreans in case anyone thought this was authentic Japanese food
Giving 5 stars as I believe their rating is too low on google however my real rating would be 4 stars. It’s a good priced feed for students and the only reason I would give 4/5 is because they changed their sushi and I was a big fan of the old sushi. I reccomend chicken karaage
Super expensive. Paid $12 for 3 tiny sushi rolls. The rolls are about half the size of standard rolls
Kind and beautiful staff and delicious food. My go to for takeout. Prices are student friendly and servings are large! Highly recommend

Had the prawn katsu, and it just tasted like a generic curry block sauce. The prawns were reasonable and the rice was nice so some redeeming features, but still, doubt Ill go back there
