Story

Metropolitan Caloundra Surf Lifesaving Club is located on beautiful Kings Beach, Caloundra on Queensland's Sunshine Coast our beach is popular both with families and surfers and attracts approx 120,000 visitors each patrolling season.
Volunteering with Met Caloundra SLSC is a choice that will ultimately change your life and the lives of your family and friends. One day they may be drowning or hurt and you will be the one able to help them.
Your membership fee to our surf lifesaving club is an investment in your own safety as well as the safety of everyone around you. It is an investment in the beach lifestyle and something to be proud of.
Surf lifesaving is unique in offering water safety, sport, recreation and social opportunties all under one roof. Our vital community service is provided free to the beach going public thanks to our active surf lifesaver who dedicate their time and energy to training, patrolling, competing and volunteering for our club.

Staff is very very(!) rude! They asked if we are from Australia, followed by demanding our IDs and as we thought that they are only checking our age, our first ID was already in a scanner. We advised that we don't want them to scan and that they should have told his before and then they even stated that they told us before, which was not true. We asked to have our data deleted and all of the sudden the rest of the staff joined in and were really rude to us. They said that it can't be deleted. My God they have an attitude which is so bad, I don't even have words for this. The location is so nice, but with "service" staff like that...... Just horrible!!

Opened door to enter. Approached to join club which I decided not to. Scanned ID to enter and asked is that all I  do. Yep thats it answer. Go into club and thought of ya write thats it, this small room is all???? Look for table to sit and select food, many tables but all had reserved on them, every single table reserved. We leave and pleasantly enjoying the tavern 100 meters away

I had the good fortune to perform a wedding here yesterday. The excellent and professional staff had the entire event well co-ordinated and were very kind and professional. It all ran smoothly. In general the place was packed and the menu looked fantastic and good value. Spectacular views, I will defintely be returning for lunch with my family. :)

Was driving around Caloundra looking for a place for lunch, and we drove by and the location drew us in. Large Modern club with wonderful air-conditioned dining area looking South East back towards Bribie Island and Moreton Bay. Food was fantastic, with a great range of options from lovely salads to full on steaks! Prices were as you would expect ($14 - $40) for mains. A great place to stop for some peace and quiet and a very enjoyable meal.
