This place offers really nice coffee and it's a must-try if you are a coffee enthusiast. Overall Merriweather is a good café. However the service and quality of the food seems to have declined a bit in the past few months.

It's not rocket science people; if you walk into a busy café on a weekend there's going to be a wait. Lucky it's the weekend and you've got nowhere else to be, right? Merriweather has been an example that so many other venues have taken stock of before opening. I certainly did. From inventive, locally sourced food to coffee that's as well made as you'll get anywhere it's up with the best. The decor is beautiful too. Long live Merriweather!

Bean Hunter rated this place highly but we found the coffee to resemble something more like a warm milkshake. Wasn't a fan as we prefer a medium to dark roast. Food was decent but service was questionable.
