Story

The Mermaid Beach Surf Club Supporters Association operates licensed food and beverage facilities that provide financial support for the Surf Lifesaving club. Housed on the first floor of the clubhouse, the licensed club takes advantage of the unique beachfront location and is a popular alternative to the many locals, tourists and visitors to the area.

The Supporters Club holds the liquor and gaming licenses on behalf of the Surf Club and donates all profits for use in the day to day running of all Surf Club services. The licensed club has all the facilities expected in the hospitality industry including a bar, bistro, gaming machines and keno as well as a fantastic kids playroom. Our restaurant menu offers our old time favourite club classics as well as a number of tantalizing dishes including a great combination of seafood, poultry, beef and other local delicacies.

Consistently good food from here, had live music on a few times too.nnBoth of these meals were on the special menu - both tasted incredible and were executed perfectly as you can see. 100% worth the money.

Great food, with a view, atmosphere and live music. Also special thanks to Bruno behind the bar. Had to ask him his name so I could say how lucky management are to have someone with such great personality and great people skills and vibe he bought to the place. Well done Bruno and keep up the great work!!

We visited here several times during our recent stay on the Gold Coast. This surf club was great and came recommended. Great meals, nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Highlight meal was the chicken surf and turf, although the steak meals weren’t great. Very tough and not cooked well. But overall a great spot for a relaxed meal.

Carl and swung by for a cheeky bevy at lunch not realising it was Melbourne cup day. Dispite having hundreds of patrons, we were served with the utmost of patience and kindness. We have since revisited and had our wedding anniversary meal, again, the service was second to none and our meals were divine. Try the gatto for dessert with a shot of whisky OMG
