We booked a 2 Bedroom Ocean Suite for 2 nights for my sister’s engagement, and we had an amazing stay!nnI requested a high-floor room with a nice view, and we were so lucky to be given a room on the 20+ floor with an incredible, completely unobstructed ocean view. It was absolutely beautiful!nnThe biggest surprise was the thoughtful welcome — a congratulations card, balloons, and a complimentary bottle of champagne in the fridge. Such a lovely touch and very much appreciated!nnThe hotel has fast elevators, and the Level 5 pool, spa and sauna all have beautiful ocean views too.nnThe only downside is limited parking at $25/night, and street parking nearby can be difficult to find.nnOverall, we were extremely happy with our stay. Two nights was definitely not enough! We’ll definitely come back for another escape and highly recommend Meriton Suites Surfers Paradise!
We stayed at Meriton Suites Surfers Paradise for 4 nights. Overall, our stay was fantastic, and we can highly recommend staying here when visiting Gold Coast!nnFirst of all, we were welcomed with friendly and professional receptionist, reflecting excellent hospitality. Our check-in process was smooth, and we managed to check in early because our room was ready.nnAs for the rooms, we stayed in the Studio Coast Suite. Overall it was a great room. The room is very clean and well maintained. It is also very spacious, with fully equipped kitchenette, a washing machine, wardrobe, bathroom, bedroom, viewing area, and living room with dining table. The beds are comfortable, and towels are clean and has no stains.nnThe amenities are also great, with an indoor and outdoor swimming pool, with jacuzzi alongside the pool. It also has a sauna, and also has a gym, with plenty of equipments.nnWe also like the convenience of the location. The property is located near the tram station, so it's easy to get around Gold Coast.nnOverall, this is a great place to stay in, particularly for their excellent service and clean and spacious rooms.
My partner and I have stayed here twice now and we love it! Great location, right on the esplanade and a quick walk to all the shops. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable - it had everything we needed. Amazing view from the balcony of both the city & beach! Staff were friendly and helpful. We enjoyed using the outdoor pool & spa as well as the restaurants & bars. We will definitely be back!
Stayed in the Ocean Suite at Meriton Suites Surfers Paradise and overall it was a good stay, mainly because of the location and the view, but there were a few issues that affected the experience.nnThe location is honestly excellent. You’re right in the heart of Surfers Paradise, close to the beach, restaurants, and everything you need, but still feels comfortable and not overly noisy.nnThe suite itself was very clean and modern, and the view was the highlight. The sunrise and sunset from the room were absolutely beautiful and easily the best part of the stay.nnThe facilities were also nice, especially the level 5 pool area with both indoor and outdoor options, plus the sauna which was a good bonus.nnThe main issue we had was with the air conditioning in the living and dining area. Every time we entered the suite, it was extremely hot and it took a long time to cool down. We reported it, and a maintenance staff member came to check it, but the issue wasn’t properly fixed and there was no real improvement. Because of that, we couldn’t comfortably use the living and dining space and ended up spending most of our time in the bedroom where it was cooler.nnOverall, it’s a good property with a great location and amazing views, but the air conditioning problem really affected the comfort of the stay and should be looked into properly.
Absolutely dreadful check in experience. Expect Olympic level queues just to get your key… and then another marathon queue simply to use the elevator up to your room.nIf you’ve been assigned a three room setup proceed with extreme caution they may quietly lock one of the rooms without warning after you’ve already dumped your luggage inside.nAnd good luck finding a parking spot close enough to even reach the front desk in the first place.
