I had a fantastic stay at Meriton Suites Canberra! The hotel is modern, clean, and extremely comfortable. From the moment I checked in, the staff were friendly, helpful, and professional — making everything feel smooth and easy.nnThe room was spacious, beautifully designed, and had everything I needed — including a fully equipped kitchen and a super comfy bed. The views were lovely, and the location is perfect — close to everything but still peaceful.nnSpecial mention to the team at reception who went above and beyond with their service. I truly felt valued and welcomed.nnHighly recommended for anyone visiting Canberra — whether for work or a relaxing getaway. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Absolutely fantastic hotel. Excellent disability accessibility. I had a very minor issue with my room and Martin went above and beyond to fix it in less than five minutes, meaning myself and my guide dog could have a lovely stay. Most hotel staff I've encountered don't take disability or accessibility seriously - Martin and the crew at the Meriton do, and it makes a huge difference.nnCannot recommend highly enough! Thank you Martin!

Nothing to fault. Beautiful service from check in. A cheaper parking- the Canberra casino across the road was suggested when the hotel parking was sold out.nClean rooms,  beautiful check in and lobby. Glad I didn't go with the hotels. Floriade 10 minute walk away and restaurants at door step  recommend. I've stayed at the Hyatts etc and this is up there. Canberra seems to have some aged, sub par places but not this one

I travel to Canberra frequently for work and have made Meriton Suites Canberra my go-to accommodation, staying here about once a month. It’s rare to find a team that can maintain such a high level of service over time, but they truly deliver on it.nnThe suites are modern, comfortable, and well-maintained, which makes longer work trips much more manageable. For me, it’s the combination of reliable comfort and attentive service that keeps me coming back without hesitation.nnIf you’re looking for a place that balances convenience, quality, and a personal touch, Meriton Canberra is hard to beat.

The location of the hotel was excellent—everything was within walking distance, including a great coffee shop just steps away. It was also nice and quiet, which made it easier to relax.nnUnfortunately, the service and overall experience didn’t live up to expectations. We had to wait over an hour to check in with no prior notice or communication, while other guests were being given their keys. My kids were getting restless, acter a long drive. Not a great first impression.nnThe stay was also extremely expensive—$2,500 for three nights, plus $96 for parking. Room service is only every three days, so trash piles up quickly. We found an old bottle under the bed, and the mirrors were dirty. The area around the pool also wasn’t as clean as it should be.nnOverall, the stay was okay, but this is definitely not a high-end hotel as I had imagined—more like an average, everyday property with high-end pricing. Disappointing given the cost.
