I had a fantastic stay at Meriton Suites Canberra! The hotel is modern, clean, and extremely comfortable. From the moment I checked in, the staff were friendly, helpful, and professional — making everything feel smooth and easy.nnThe room was spacious, beautifully designed, and had everything I needed — including a fully equipped kitchen and a super comfy bed. The views were lovely, and the location is perfect — close to everything but still peaceful.nnSpecial mention to the team at reception who went above and beyond with their service. I truly felt valued and welcomed.nnHighly recommended for anyone visiting Canberra — whether for work or a relaxing getaway. I’ll definitely be coming back!

The location of the hotel was excellent—everything was within walking distance, including a great coffee shop just steps away. It was also nice and quiet, which made it easier to relax.nnUnfortunately, the service and overall experience didn’t live up to expectations. We had to wait over an hour to check in with no prior notice or communication, while other guests were being given their keys. My kids were getting restless, acter a long drive. Not a great first impression.nnThe stay was also extremely expensive—$2,500 for three nights, plus $96 for parking. Room service is only every three days, so trash piles up quickly. We found an old bottle under the bed, and the mirrors were dirty. The area around the pool also wasn’t as clean as it should be.nnOverall, the stay was okay, but this is definitely not a high-end hotel as I had imagined—more like an average, everyday property with high-end pricing. Disappointing given the cost.

Meriton Suites Canberra is clean and shiny throughout. I had a huge room with a kitchen and laundry.nThe pool was stunning, although I didn't get to use it due to a migraine.nThe balcony was big and great for checking out the view and weather.nEnjoyed my stay

Great hotel with beautiful pool, spa and gym. Very nice lobby with contemporary  library space filled with books for guests to enjoy and nice fireplaces. Excellent city location to walk to great dining choices. Only gripe I have is the beds could be improved. I was Diamond Hilton member for a while so maybe I am spoiled but that would be a welcomed improvement. Overall great hotel and always happy when I stay for weeks at a time.

My wife and I recently stayed a few days in Canberra from Qld. We often stay at Meriton if available and this didn’t disappoint. The building is centrally located, staff were fantastic, the room was a great size and beautifully presented. Even the gym and heated indoor pool were great with awesome views from the exercise bikes! My only criticism is that the couch in the living area was so hard we didn’t use it! Fortunately the bedroom had its own TV! We would definitely return to this property on our next visit to Canberra.
