WOW! I had an amazing 4 night stay at the Meriton Suites Canberra. The staff at reception were friendly and very welcoming. I was upgraded to a lovely one bedroom suite with a balcony. The room is spacious, very clean and the kitchenette had everything I needed. Ideal location and is within walking distance to coffee shops, restaurants and shopping. I'll be back soon.

I stayed at Meriton Suites Canberra for 6 nights, and I had a great experience. The hotel's location is quite strategic, just a 3-minute walk from Canberra Centre Mall and an 18-minute walk to the jogging track along Molonglo River. The in-room facilities were very comprehensive, including a fridge, microwave, oven, coffee machine, washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, iron, ironing board, and plenty of power outlets. The staff were friendly and extremely helpful. Overall, this hotel is very comfortable and kid-friendly.

This was originally a two star rating for the overall experience, but the amazing staff on site at Meriton Canberra didn't deserve a bad rating. The reservation team mislead us quite drastically, and from what we were told it's common. We were given information on a Sydney hotel with different amenities and services to the Canberra hotel. I'll follow this up further up the chain with Meriton on Monday, but I can't in good conscience let the staff at Meriton Canberra wear that criticism. Unfortunately it fell on them to try remedy the issues, and even though I was exhausted and frustrated and it showed, the staff there showed me endless patience and understanding and had me sorted in no time anyway. The room was spotlessly clean and well maintained with everything working. The whole hotel was sparkling and in great shape. The housekeeping team are top tier and everyone we met were friendly, happy  and accommodating. I wouldn't stay here again given what happened with the reservation team, but that's only because this hotel isn't quite fit for purpose for us. Definitely not a reflection of the staff. It's otherwise fantastic accommodation with kind, warm, and genuinely hospitable people every where you turn.

My friends and I stayed at thenThree Bedroom Luxury Suite. I feel like our room doesn’t have a hotel feeling. It’s more like an apartment. But it’s good for its price. The room has everything you needed, iron, washing machine, dryer, microwave etc.nthe location is also nice near Casio, shopping center, part and so on.nnOh you need to pay for the parking $30 / night multiple entrance.nnOverall, i recommend it.

Unfortunately I booked the wrong date and was unable to stay at Meriton apartments as they were booked out. The staff at reception were amazing! They helped me find alternative accommodation nearby. They didn’t have to do this as they were already busy but they rang around and made sure that I found a place to stay. Their incredible service was very much appreciated .
