For new campervan owners you're given heaps of information in a short period of time. Being able to stay at a nearby camping ground and having all your questions answered by RV by phone was great. Guarantees aren't all there cracked up to be. We had a problem with our TV. Rang RV who told us to ring the TV supplier. Rang them who told us "no problem, just send the TV back". Not easy to do when you're in Timbuktu. 4 1/2 years later and 56k on the clock of our Fiat, two dash warning scares but both we're false alarms. Restarting cleared one and mechanics cleared the other one after finding nothing wrong. 1/2 lt of oil at 5k and nothing since then other than normal servicing/oil change. A great first vehicle.
I purchased a new Swift Conqueror 650 Caravan three years ago from an Otago Dealer and when I asked for an Owners Handbook/Manual was told, sorry, not available. Everything is online. I recently rediscovered Merit RV in New Plymouth, Swift caravan dealers, and on an off chance rang Nathan to see if an Owners Handbook/Manual was available. Yes, we have them available. Nathan could not have been more helpful. He Couriered the Manuals to me that day and I received then a couple of days latter. No cost to me at all, so a Great effort from Merit RV and one very happy Southern Caravan owner. Thanks Heaps Merit RV.

Went to buy a new step for the caravan. As it was a small space we had to wait as other customers were looking at campervans etc. We decided to go elsewhere as we know showing caravans take a long time

Great team Nathan, Ken and the others whose name I don't know. Brought our 2019 Swift 580 Explorer preloved for about 6 months from meritRV. The whole purchasing experience and the backup received is top line. Thanks team
We were looking at a few caravans on-line all over NZ, but in the end decided to buy local. It was a choice between two competing company's vans and although the one we finally chose was more expensive it was the great service provided by MeritRV that determined our choice. Completely oriented us to our new van, then delivered it to our place of choice as we still hadn't purchased a tow vehicle.
We recently did a Trade and purchase of a new Swift Eccles 635 from Nathan and Ken, what an easy process working with Merit RV, their wealth of knowledge and after sales service is impeccable, customer service is number 1. I would recommend anybody considering a new RV to contact these guys, you won't be disappointed.
Friendly staff but couldn't help with my enquiries.
I know the owner/Operator well, good Honest man, very good customer relationship, looks after his customers and staff, will do his best to resource the customers requirements.
