Chris was such a lovely guy to deal with. He made the whole car buying process very easy. We would recommend Merit cars to anyone looking for a fair and honest car dealership.
Hows down the best car yard in New Plymouth. Not to mention Chris is an absolute bloody legend! Not only can you have a great conversation with him about anything, he treats you with respect. And tells you how it is especially since there's lots of paper work involved! Have great credit and don't spend much on takeaways he is someone I literally could have a beer with on those horrible days! He knows what I mean but in all honesty the service is amazing. And he explains everything and I mean everything! If you want a great car. Great service. A laugh and a half. Plus freebies. Go to Merit Cars.
Went here to check out 3 cars I had found and liked! Asked to take 1 for a test drive only to be declined ... thats just a test drive. Told Paul I have 2 6ft nephews and baby and he tried saying he's 6ft yet I was looking in to his eyes that ain't 6ft when I'm only 5ft, then he tells me to put the car seat on the driver's side I'm like then she be getting out on the road side ... na ain't happening,. So yeah sorry won't be going back there for the car I was looking at, I will definitely shop else where. Thanks Paul!

Buying a used car can be difficult but the staff here were very helpful flexible fair and efficient in helping my son buy his first car. Full wof pre sales inspection 6/12 licence leaking cv boot fixed /wheel nuts replaced at no additional cost at Fitzroy Automotive nearby.
