Meridian Mall, Dunedin is a centrally located shopping mall on George Street with a good mix of popular stores, everyday essentials, and a convenient food court offering affordable options. It’s clean, easy to navigate, and also has a cinema, making it a practical stop for shopping, food, and entertainment in the heart of the city.
A great discovery with a variety of shops on all three floors. I wish there were rest rooms on all three floors. Going down to ground level every time is a little tiresome,even just to wash hands, huge inconvenience. It would also be helpful if there was an in-store map, or an info center. Decore a little out of date an tired, needs a lift. Oh there were actual lifts but no signs saying so!
Im sorry but this mall is not one id recommend to anyone, firstly charging your customers ridiculous amounts for carparking, thats just wrong having to pay for carparking in the first place but you could atleast have a system where you have proof of purchase of certain amount free parking. We drove 45 mins to town on new years day to do some shopping, parked in your carpark only to find the door to the mall locked and a sign only telling customers to go to George St entrance so we did only to find out that most of the shops were all closed and no explanation as to why. There was no advertisement to say your Christmas hours and there were heaps of people there wanting to do some shopping and all as confused as we were that there was only two shops open in the entire mall. What mall is not open on new years day?.... Meridian Mall thats who

The worst parking in all NZ.nOverpriced, with very low roofs, and on top of that, idiot drivers that hit our car. Walk in, don't give these fools a single dollar..
