We stayed in the King room, which was so nice. Room seemed so much bigger than in photos online. Bed was huge. Nice window with a view. Beds so comfy. Super clean, sound proof. Only thing our fridge was unplugged which we didn’t realise for the first day/night. The next morning after we had put food in there I opened it and realised it was all warm and we had to go in our cupboard and find the cord to plug in. Everything else was great. Carpark felt secure and $15 a night was cheap for what it was. Receptionist was lovely, elevators needed a keycard so felt safe. Made our rooms up once a day. There is a Woolies metro like 1 min down the road which is so convenient and plenty of places to eat around. We would definitely stay here again if we come back to Canberra
Only one night, but you make me wish it was more. In particular, your house keeping team are superb! I checked in this afternoon, and it’s immaculate! Every detail has been attended to, and the decor is delightful. You have spoilt me for other chains! I have paid more for less elsewhere in the past, won’t make that mistake again . Looking forward to your buffet breakfast tomorrow.My grandson and his wife really know how to make me feel special, with the aid of Belconnen Mercure!
We had a very comfortable stay at the Mecure. We have booked another week in April. The location is perfect for our needs. The beds are super comfy. Our room had a view of the lake with buildings either side. The service was excellent. Housekeeping very good. The parking was quite easy. Just need to use the public lift to the club reception then go to the opposite end of the building to go through glass drs then there are about 6 steps or a open mini lift to access the Mecure reception. The car parking ticket gets validated at the desk and then you get the Mecures access key for their lift that takes you back up to Level 3 or 4 car park and then load your baggage and use their lift to access your floor and room. Cheers!
Rooms very clean,beds comfy,pillows comfy, hotel very central to all cafes restaurants and lake, Labor club right next door is super convenient. Great club!! Joy at the front reception desk was cheerful and helpful. Would highly recommend mecure belconnen canberra.
staff were very helpful and they kindly gave us a complimentary upgraded room with a slightly later check out. the ladies cleaning the rooms were very prompt as well when i asked if they could clean mine next as i would be back soon. overall lovey stay with reasonable pricing, highly recommend!
