Great location for a nice dessert and stroll around the wharfs. Plentiful selection of ice creams and sorbets. They also make shakes and other treats. The honey pokey ice cream brought back nice childhood memories. The staff were very nice and helped me decide with a sampler.
Nice place with a lot of options. Unfortunately I didn't have time to take a photo of my 2 scoops ice cream $7,90 because it was so delicious.
Had a bad experience today, I asked for mint choc chip kisses and they said there was none left because the other lady said there was none after looking at the tubs on the table…after I ate the ice cream that I did not want they put out the choc chip ice cream out because my sister felt them looking at us and waiting for us to leave but I suppose we took a while. Was quite upset about that, didn’t expect to be racially profiled at an ice cream shop. Will not be going back there again. December 4th Sunday afternoon, 2022.
Service on Saturday 4th Feb at 4.45 pm was very average. The lady was slow and sullen and rude. Service is worth 1 star because I received my product. The sorbet was good but so disappointed that this is how tourists will see NZ service. The service was so below standard I would not come back.
Kids were excited to have real fruit ice creams.. unfortunately they didn't have any fruit on a Saturday with a cruise ship right around the corner. Asked if they did iced coffees, nope. The lady barely cracked a smile and looked like she was having a miserable start to the day.. customer service goes a long way and let me say that we were the only ones in the shop so you can't pull the busy card. It was dead as a dodo
Really amazing coffee. Best in the town. Amazing staff with passion about customer service. Provide details about all the icecreams they have. Inder was very friendly
Cool ice cream shop in a great location.
What a joke !! Traveled from Albany with family to have Ice cream after visiting their website stating they will be closing at nine after finding car park in town which is a pain we proceeded to shop at 8 o’clock to Have staff close door and our face literally at 8 o’clock with other customers standing behind us with no explanation very rude Would not even look us in the eye if this is Customer Service in New Zealand no wonder businesses are struggling These foreign employees just don’t care
Needed dessert after dinner so came by here since it was close by and we wanted ice cream. Apart from ice cream they also have other hot or cold desserts that is served with ice cream. I tried the cinnamon chimney cone since it looked quite interesting. They do have tastings if you weren't sure which ice cream flavour to go with. The decor inside is quite interesting. There are bikes on one side and a sand pit on the other, complete with toys. The tables also had board games on them. It is quite a nice place to just sit and enjoy your dessert.
A good place to have a rest and ice-cream after the walk from Silo Park to the wharf. Lovely atmosphere and setting. We visited at 1:30pm on Sunday but only two staffs working in the shop. A long queue waiting to be serve.
