We've been members at Caulfield for many years and yesterday (Caulfield Cup Day) was probably one of the worst meetings we've attended in relation to facilities for members.  The toilet situation, or lack of it, was an absolute disgrace.  The block between the BMW Stand and members lawn enclosure only has 4 toilets, I witnessed a middle aged woman (not drunk) actually wet herself because the queue was so long.  There was also a long queue for the mens toilets.  When trying to get a drink I had to wait at the bar for over 10 minutes, to be charged $11 for a glass of wine, when previously on the day we'd been charged $9.  The bar staff were obviously very young & inexperienced for such a busy day - we actually felt sorry for them.  A fun day with friends, but that was about all.
