Total screw ups here. They didn't communicate the nature of the job correctly to the installer, causing problems. They didn't warn me beforehand to cover my bedroom with drop clothes to avoid mess--something the installer said they should have done. They didn't ordered the correct insulation bats so now I have to wait a full week without any insulation. Finally, when I noted all of this, I was told very rudely on the phone that it all just a simple mistake and not really a big deal for them. Also, I was told that I lacked common sense, which was my fault. Unbelievably bad. Don't use this company!

Steer well clear of this company! A litany of problems resulted in much wasted time, money and frustration. The owner supposedly measured our ceiling space and quoted on 22 packs of the larger batts. Two missed appointment times before they finally turned up. Found that the owner had made a “mistake” and the smaller sized batt was required so yet another time needed. The packs of smaller batts each cover less area than the larger packs quoted so 30 packs of the smaller size should have been needed to cover the same area. The owner obviously knew that he had over-quoted the job because, instead of 30 packs, the installer only brought 21 packs to the job and only 18 of those were used, i.e. 60% of the batts quoted. We expected an adjusted invoice for the owner’s “mistake” but the only adjustment was double charging the Supa Vents, so the invoice was $560 more than the quote. The only response to our reasoned letter asking politely for an explanation and advising of the double charging was a threat of legal action if we didn’t pay the full amount immediately. When they did eventually remove the double charging, after our third message about it, they dishonestly claimed that it was they who picked up the error and that I had missed it. Bringing so many less packs to the job than quoted, and then refusing to discuss it, strongly suggests a deliberate overcharge. How many others are overcharged who don’t realise it because they don’t know how many packs are used? To make matters worse we have now found through our handyman that the installation was a rushed job with batts not properly aligned and with many gaps, not trapping the heat as they should. Certainly don’t look like the neat job in the photo. We will now need to pay someone more professional to fix their botched and overcharged job. Choose a more honest operator next time.

They damaged by property putting in the insulation, told them would get three quotes and pay balance of bill. They threatened me with legal action the day I got the last quote. So I payed the total bill and never hear from them again about fixing the damaged they did.
