Story

We’ve been around for almost as long as Melbourne itself and over the years have adapted and evolved alongside the people we work with, always responding to the changing needs of communities.

Our staff are dedicated professionals, with the expertise to deliver holistic, integrated services that really make a powerful and sustainable difference to people’s lives.

Mission

A fair and just community where people have equal access to opportunities and resources. We help people and communities to develop their pathways away from disadvantage.

Products

Melbourne City Mission runs over 80 progressive programs and services each week. We have a broad reach within Melbourne and Victorian communities, with the aim of promoting equal opportunities for everyone.

We offer innovative and inclusive services for people living with a disability, work to help people regain access to employment, education and training. We work with people exiting prison to assist them with their new road ahead and give them the support they need to find employment and housing. We also work with people at the later stages of their lives by providing aged care and palliative care services. We work with like-minded organisations and always take a holistic approach to break down barriers in our society.
