I've been to this clinic for a a few years and while the experience with doctors have been up and down depending on which doctor you see, the reception staff have always been polite and easy to deal with. In the past year, I've been bringing my baby boy to see doctor Jon Stokes and he is really good. He explains things patiently and thoroughly and never make me feel like I'm asking silly questions. Glad to be able to find a doctor we can trust.
Visiting from Perth and needed a GP at short notice for my daughter. Had a phone consult, followed by an early evening appointment on the same day. Dr Elder was amazing, generous and informative, great medical advice with a seamless experience from start to finish. Better than our GPs back home, highly recommended.
Dr. Jun Feng is very rude in a self-assertive way. He doesn’t want to listen to what a patient needs and he is dismissive of other doctor‘s treatments. He’d only impose his own thoughts and decisions on patients. He also wrote the wrong name for the medication I used to take on the referral letter. Would not recommend this doctor. The one extra star is for the front desk receptionist, she was nice and helpful.
Saw Dr Fiser and he was great. Hands down the best GP I've seen. Highly professional yet warm at the same time. Front of staff Jessica was lovely and helpful as well. Waiting time wasn't too bad probably about 5-10mins.
Dr Jon Stokes is fantastic with children and even offered a follow up without needing an appointment. 10/10. I've personally been seeing Dr Chris Argyropoulos for the past 10 years and also found his service and level of care also outstanding. The only thing that recently soured my experience is that the receptionist called me after my appointment to inform me I had to pay $110 even though I have a healthcare card. After being bulk billed for the past 10 years this was quite a shock. They informed me that the clinic only bulk bills for children and pensioners now but surely it's better to inform the patient before the appointment? Now weighing up whether I change practices or just pay the fee considering the impeccable service from the GPs.
Practice management is awful, constantly making mistakes that cost people time, stress, and money. * However Dr Argryopoulos and Dr Higgins are great doctors. *this has happened at least 10 times over the last 2-3 years, I attend this clinic regularly
Went to see Dr Jun Feng today after scheduling last minute. Was honestly scared after seeing all the reviews and expected to be in pain for at least 30 minutes, but surprisingly I got seen after waiting 2-ish minutes from arriving and the doctor was nice and explained what was going on well. Also didn’t have to pay a lot out of pocket as I’m a student 20$ which is nice.
As for this Medical One in the heart of Melbourne, I got my name wrong yesterday, and I misheard my name when I told me that they called the number, 1 I will not be refunded 2 I will spend 100$ to register again. There is really something wrong. First of all, the doctors in this private hospital can't pronounce the patient's name correctly, and secondly, they read my ID, so it's impossible not to know my name. The attitude of the front desk was too arrogant, so I blocked the front desk and said that I could not pay any more, and asked their doctor to prescribe me a new case and find their manager. Finally they finally agreed to reopen the case for free for me It's outrageous! Is this the service attitude of private hospitals?
The GP I visit here is the best I've ever had. I travel in from suburbs to see my GP here. The staff are always courteous and helpful. This centre is a 5 star medical practice for me.
Not sure what everyone is complaining about. This is a superb private clinic with excellent staff. Yes you might have to patiently wait for your appointment and yes sometimes that wait is longer than 20min but the doctors actually take their solid time to understand you and your medical situation. Just bring a book or a phone and you’ll be fine. I can highly recommend this clinic, a special mention & thanks to Georgia at reception for her above and beyond support in finding a solution and also to Dr Michelle for her very professional & thorough Medical approach. …………. If you felt the same vibes at Medical One - QV after reading my review, give it a thumbs up, i’d love to know Thank you
