Terrible patient care once again. Booked a phone consultation. Doctor called over 2 hours later when I was unavailable. This isn't the first time. It's easy to understand why all the good doctors have left the practice. I wonder if they remember why they went into medicine in the first place? I'm sure they billed Medicare anyway.
On Saturday morning to see a doctor, my experience to a recipient young lady, I just want to say she wasn't very friendly when asking her a mask, showing impatients and cold, 'It is not required anymore!'. I hope she can improve her customer service skills.
Latest appointment yesterday was horrible. I saw Dr. Shoeman after 40 minutes of waiting, and almost immediately carted me off to the nurse because I was just getting an injection specialised, with instructions on file from my endocrinologist which she didn't read despite the fact I've always been told the doctor needs to do this injection. Immediately began being condescending. Nurse didn't read any instructions, or dosage, went to just administer the entire vial of medication I had brought, then handed me back to the doctor after I asked if I could give her a copy of the instructions because I wasn't comfortable with her just making assumptions about my dosage. Dr. Shoeman tells me she doesn't have to help me if I'm going to be "like this" with her barely holding back tears, uncomfortable, anxious, talking as quietly and calmly as I can, and stressed because I was running late to work. She implied I wasn't treating her with respect after I told her where the nurse had left my medication. Still doesn't read the instructions she'd opened about my injection and asks me all the questions about my dosage all on the document. Absolutely horrible and traumatic time. Left in tears and immensely overwhelmed. Both medical professionals were incredibly unprofessional in their handling of my medication, which could have put me in a lot of danger. I will not be coming back here. She was not compassionate or empathetic towards me. I think there should be a re-evaluation of her compatibility with patients. I felt incredibly unsafe with her.
My husband had seizure on the center rd. One of the GP came out to help. I didn’t ask her name. I am writing here to express my appreciation to her. Also thanks for all the kind people helping us on 24 Aug 2022.
just for a quick blood test referral , why can't they spend 1-2 minutes and why patient has to wait for 2-3 days. its ridicules and not acceptable at all. Medical business must have little bit of humanity as well. Customer service and doctors treat patients like robots.
First time visiting Medi 7 in Bentleigh and I was a bit nervous about changing doctors clinics. We saw Dr Vlad, he was very good with my child for his check up. We had a flu shot done by Siri, she was so wonderful. My Son is nearly 2, didn't cry at all and she gave him jelly beans as a treat, so he was won over. Very impressed with the clinic, Desk staff are very friendly and most helpful. I would definitely suggest coming here with your child.
Dr Schoeman has been the most helpful medical professional I have ever been a patient of. She has never commented on my weight but instead created an environment where I felt comfortable coming to her to discuss my weight issues. She has always taken into consideration my financial position and has ensured referrals to cost effective specialists. I have referred many people to her and will continue to because I know how rare a good caring dr is.
My partner visited Medi7 Bentleigh for mental health reasons and to obtain a referral. The doctor asked if he had private health, which he does not. The doctor proceeded to tell him there is a 2 year waiting list which is utter nonsense for what he needs. My partner asked what he should do and the man who calls himself a General Practitioner, MBBS and FRACGP told him to go home and come back in a few months. I am totally appalled by this man’s actions, specially towards mental health. You showed no compassion. I will be contacting 3AW. We will never visit Medi7 Bentleigh again.
Waited 30 minutes in an empty clinic and then the doctor walks out with no patient. No ‘sorry for the wait’. Then Dr Freund suggest a pain I have been getting inside my ribs near my heart and separately under my armpit is muscular. Retire mate. Just interested in “vaccine” dollars.
I've seen 4 doctors there before and they have all been rubbish. One sent my new born home who had blood from her ear home for observation. Another one sent me with 2 broken feet to get a CT with a referral with nothing on it, was then not contactable to get me onto my CT appt. Their reception staff couldn't help me get any other doctor till the next day to write up another referral. Never again
