I recently bought a house and shed from Mecano. My experience dealing with Mecano Sheds Gympie was second to none. I built the home as a owner/builder and Mecano staff were very helpful, helping me with a few things I wasn't sure of, and were at my service beginning to end. A special thanks to Matt Peron. No issue was too big or too small.

Rang and asked for a quote on a 9x7.5 x3 m high skillion roof shed sheeted 2 sides. The young guy was really quick to respond with a price. It sounded to cheap based on another quote I had received so I visited there sales Site at the corner of Graham st and Brisbane Rd. Again the young guy was very polite and eager to help. He showed me the design on the computer , but the orientation was back to frontage slop was the wrong way and he didn’t know how to fix it on the computer. I drew a rough design and he said he would see his boss and get back to me. Another lady rang me and said she had fixed it, gave me the upgraded price over the phone and said she would email the Quote. Several days go by I rng again, The computers broken hope to have it fixed, will hopefully send it Friday. Tue comes, I rng again, get another lady who says they will get back to me tomorrow. Still no email I rng she tells me she has sent it, I check the spam emails. There it is. Check the drawings, orientation still wrong. I send her a copy of the drawings from another quote I had and asked if she could Quote from them. 1/2 hr later I get an Email from the Sales Manager Tracy Ryan. Saying they cannot help me, do not contact them again. I rang and spoke toTracey dumb founded by her email. She says not to contact them in any way otherwise she will contact the Police. It’s a crazy world we are living in people.

These guys are awesome, I am very happy with my three bay shed. Great price and quality. Could not recommend them higher.

Had a bad experience with a 9x6 shed materials missing no windows on delivery a roller door that was 2 years old returned from another job that was not even the correct size took months to complete the build. Needed a carport the same size to match the shed ok I will give then another try what a mistake just a complete f--kup again, taken the week off to build cost me $3000 in lost time so far nothing fits now waiting on them to remake rafter that were wrong took me 2 days just for them to agree they stuffed up. Asked for 9 metres of vermin proofing they wanted to charge me $100 for it get real will never use them again.
