Great burgers and sides and they do some amazing fried chicken and snack packs.
Ordered online and was told Max of 30 minute delivery. An hour and a quarter later, I called the shop to ask where our food was and it still hadn't left for delivery. The female staff member I spoke with, was rude and gave me one word responses, before saying 'see ya' and hanging up. When the food did arrive, it was missing some of the order and what was there, was stone cold and definitely not made with fresh produce. The meat patty was burnt black and dry!! The chips and onion rings were quite obviously old and not made to order. Waste of money and time, not to mention a horrible customer service experience.
So as a tradie I move around from job to job and place to place. We searched for a regular in Boronia and stumbled upon this place. One of the boys I work with will tell you they do the best fried chicken around, I won't agree but it isn't bad. Sure the customer service can be abrasive at first but give it a minute to win them over. Let's drop the expectations that it's a one sided relationship. We get jokes galore from the owner and I think once we might have received a smirk from the little Ray of sunshine behind the counter. It's become a good little challenge to try and get a cheeky grin from her. Food wise it's pretty good though I would like the price to be a little lower. I never leave there hungry though but I just feel compared with other venues the price is a little high with burgers ranging from $13-$20 instead of $10-$17 where I think it should be sitting. Having said all that it is the best option we have found in the area and the burgers are better there than anywhere else to our knowledge. Worth a try but be sure to give it a real shot! Might even see you there
This place was excellent under old management. Now the tacky facade says it all. Dry patties and tasteless buns. The poutine used to be close to authentic, now it’s thick cut chips with a little gravy and a sprinkle of cheese. The store also seems to be expanding their menu every other week and staff seemed confused over who was doing which tasks/ orders. With other excellent burger joints in the area, we’ll be avoiding Meat N Bun from now on.
I am so incredibly appalled by the customer service of Meat n Bun Boronia. After ordering our meals for delivery during the current lockdown we did not recieve our 3 drinks to accompany our food. Initially the restaurant was great offering to deliver our drinks for us, however they just simply never bothered to follow through on delivery them. I am all for understanding that mistakes are made, however to then offer to rectify the error and just never show up is absolutley disgraceful.
Great burgers, extremely friendly staff, fun environment and were happy to meet my dietary requirements! Was well worth a little wait as they put so much love and detail into the food they're serving. Thank you, I will Definitely coming back!
Our delivered order came 20 minutes after estimated time. The order was wrong, the entire meal was cold, and our menu log driver didn't knock on the door to let us know he or she was there. I heard the car, so went to check. Burger, albeit not what I ordered, and cold, deserves one more chance.
I am fructose intolerant, therefore I cannot have onion, garlic or gluten and Meat n Bun were completely able to cater for my needs! Best burger I have eaten! Highly recommended will definitely be a regular customer from now on!
Driver didn't deliver to door and had to go out and walk a few houses down to pick it up. Most of the food was cold I ordered loaded frys with cheese and gravy and asked for extra cheese and for bacon to be added, no bacon or extra cheese. My nutella shake tastes like a powered type chocolate drink and my onion rings were cold as well. My partner didn't get his can of drink with his meal either and his chips were cold.
Because of work, i came here, and met Meat n Bun. Staff members all really kind and nice, shop is really clean. My most favorite is the fried chicken and Poutine burger. The fried chicken let me miss my third uncle. In childhood, when my parents took me go back to my mom's home town, always can ate fried chicken which made by my third uncle. It's for a long long time didn't eat the flavour after my third uncle closed the restaurant business, until I met Meat n Bun. It's really excited. And, the Poutine burger which recommended by the shop-owner is really great! It's really nice to figure out to put chips in burger. It's like a fusion from Canadian dish, poutine. I really like the food.
