Reception is great. Sonographers have overall been thorough with excellent bedside. But the actual place is disgusting. There is dirt and literal rubbish tracked in everywhere. The waiting chair seats are filthy. The walls are stained, even their equipment is full of stains and dirt!!! Don’t get me started on the bathrooms. It’s a busy centre, yes but this is WH&S. You go in for a scan, you leave needing a hep shot.
I’ve never had any issues when I’ve had to use their services. On several different occasions the interactions I had with the ladies at reception has always been lovely. My two most recent visits were both for ultrasounds on different days. I asked at reception if I could have a female technician and was told, of course you can that’s not a problem at all.nnI was seen by Juliana, the most professional and patient person ever. I feel that any female who’s had to endure an internal probe, would understand the level of anxiousness, discomfort and quite often embarrassment that comes with it.nnJuliana’s professional approach helped me to relax just a little, as I still felt vulnerable and uncomfortable laying there. She explained in detail everything that was happening during the procedure.nnI know there’s a significant wait if you don’t have an appointment, so it may be best to call and check first unless you’re happy to wait.
This is by far the best imaging practice in Mt Druitt. Dr Kapoor picked up my mother’s lung cancer in 15 minutes. Yes, it was devastating, but no other facility thought to examine a cough she’d had for 2 years! Also, I’ve been there myself plenty of times. They are fast and efficient with very reasonable waiting times. 5 stars.
Completely useless, general advice dont get ur medical stuff done in mt druitt region in general.nBooked an appt for a referral i got from the gp. The specialist also gave me another referral on the same day for a different area. I called and made the appt asking specifically if both could be done together, i was told thats not a problem and i am all booked in. Then of course when i get to my appointment Im told that i can't do both as they are from different doctor. Not only does this extend the time between diagnosis and treatment, just a general waste of time taking time off work to make the appointments, travel etc.nSummer in particular had attitude in her response when I conveyed the fact that i had called and asked specifically if this could be done, cold shouldered and wasnt having any of it, nor any attempt for a resolution. I had to ask for a another appointment myself.
Staff were very accommodating and so lovely. Such a great experience from start to finish having my ultrasound done. Highly recommend!
