A local hidden gem and a total highlight of my trip!nA local friend introduced me to McKinly Eatery for lunch, and it totally blew me away. I ordered the Smoked Duck Fettuccine and a Flat White.nThe pasta was super rich and packed with incredible flavor and texturing. And the coffee was bold, aromatic, and topped with such unique latte art!nThis place is my favorite restaurant of this trip. I’ll 100% be back the next time I’m in Melbourne, and I’ll tell everyone I know to come here! Highly recommend~
This cafe serves really good food and drinks. Their pasta are very popular. The duck pesto pasta was delicious, the duck was cooked to perfection. I also like their unagi chilli scrambled egg. Drinks are good. The matcha latte has good matcha flavour and well balanced with sweetness. Friendly staff. Service speed is acceptable, not very quick. No reservations, walk-in only. Weekend and public holidays surcharges applicable.
Second time here and still impressed!nWe first came because a colleague recommended the duck breast pasta — it was amazing, and the coffee was great too.nThis time we tried some of their new dishes. The Brûlée Latte was a real surprise, and the pork belly eggs Benedict was very unique. The house-made chili oil was absolutely delicious.nDefinitely worth a visit! pet friendly
Second time dining here and the experience has been 10/10 both times. We ordered the Belly Benny and kaki carbonara. This place is more on the pricier end for brunch however so worth it! They are so generous with the amount and food is always so flavourful. We also had the milk cap coffee and hojicha, they were both amazing too, the foam on top is so delicious. From both my experiences here, I highly recommend the pistachio duck fettuccine and the carbonara. Will definitely be my go to brunch spot now.
The food here is excellent! The Smoked Duck Fettuccine stands out with its uniquely rich sauce, beautifully complemented by the fragrant mushrooms that add depth of flavor. The Cheesesteak is equally impressive—crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, with the green sauce perfectly balancing the richness of the cheese. Highly recommended! A truly tourist‑friendly spot.
