Staff were lovely we talked about our time spent in India but.. We had the banquet menu $45 per person The food is not authentic, not even close. Im sure the butter chicken sauce has Heinz tomato soup as an ingredient. It's a shame because the staff were so lovely. Live music was good played some great songs but tune your guitar!

Worlds best lamb chops/cutlets I eat them every time I go there and love the flavoured lemonade fully recommended for yummy 😋 enjoyable dinner go on Saturday to enjoy live music 🤩👍

Two weekends ago on a Saturday night. My husband and I decided to eat at Chimes. What a massive mistake that was!! I got some kind of a food poisening and was sick for ONE WHOLE WEEK!! It was agonising and affected me being able to work. My husband also got sick and thinks he got gastro. There is a reason why the food is so cheap at Chimes. Why is the prices on the menu so cheap in an area like Balwyn with a high rent. Something just doesnt add up. You get what you pay for!! I will definitely never be back. If i could give 0 stars i would. It just wasnt worth it :( thumbs down. Also i have read that there are 2 or more other reviews from other customers saying that their food was undercooked, how concerning.

This place has fantastic Indian food and wonderful staff that provide impeccable service. Highly recommended!

Chimes has very nice Indian food, with very helpful staff. As I had a nut allergy it was a bit tricky for me, and thats where the staff and chef helped by making my dining as enjoyable as everyone else's.
