We were on our way to Bluff and stopped at this place because it is the Southern most McDonald's in the world. If you treat it like a McDonald's, it is easily a 5 star. It is fast and clean with plenty of parking. If you come thinking it is some kind of special thing, you will be disappointed.nnInvercargiland Bluff as a city is super interesting, it reminds me of Atlanta in 1998. Lots of pretty victorian houses that have not been kept up with maintenance and the city is showing it economic downfall. If I had spare change sitting around, I would buy a place there. I can see it getting revitalized and become a destination for NZ surfers, tech people and overall young people looking to build something they can call their own.
The fries were good, food was fast, I guess the management know how to run the shownnAlthough I think the chocolate soft serve melted too fast for my liking, maybe maybe it a bit colder?
Served by a manager who was incredibly rude to me and my elderly grandmother, I cannot believe the service we got! No greeting, no smile and certainly no courtesy. He didn’t even place my drink order into the system? A poor worker who was already stressed out had too quickly whip it up for me while the manager proceeded to ignore his questions about the drink. The woman working at the cafe said she’d got many complaints about said manager she was a lovely woman. My grandmother said it’s the absolute worst service shes ever had, I agree. Please fire this man, nobody was having a pleasant experience in his presence.
I ordered a decent size meal through uber only got my drinks and deserts everything else was missing I couldn’t get ahold of the driver didn’t want a refund just wanted my dinner I rang the store and the man on the phone was no help at all and I could really tell he didn’t want to help me all he would say was we can’t get a hold of the divers either and there was nothing he could do didn’t want to have the order regenerated and delivered to me nothing, worst service I have ever had and I work in QSR myself very disappointing
Forgot and mixed up several items in our order. Staff left multiple people at the counter standing around while they acted like they couldn't see us. When we finally got some service they were rude and short.
