Due to staff shortage this one has lately been on drive through only!! Went twice last week, the first time took over 30 mins, 2nd time the wait was unbelievable over an hour to order and 40+ mins to get the meals, kids slept already in the car after getting in the water! Useless place to go, already some cars took off the queue if they could - guess the language used, of course drivers lost their temper fighting over whose turn is next, reading other reviews seems like nothing hasn’t changed.. if you don’t know how to run a business DON’T, you guys definitely got a problem running this place - I don’t know the ins and outs about you but seriously what happened to me and my family is a disgrace, absolutely an awful experience. Unfair really for the young front line staff who deal with some angry customers, to be honest they are quite polite and apologetic.
I attend a lot of McDonald’s *coffee is essential to my morning routine* and honestly this morning coming up this way from the other side of Melbourne for a dolphin swim, would had to have been the BEST experience at a Maccas establishment. Was served by a mature man named ‘Adam‘ who I pleasantly saw was a “crew trainer” - I really truely hope he can instill the customer service standards he has to not only this restaurant but all across Melbourne. The store was clean, tidy and incredibly efficient! Well don’t on running a tight crew Adam! Head office get him as a national trainer STAT!!
McDonald’s is a fast food change. What happened. I’ve had quicker service at a sit down restaurant. Reevaluate the process. The drive thru is meant to be a quicker option. But it is not. Sometimes waiting 30 minutes for a burger. Staff are always friendly. Venue is always clean. But it is not a fast food option.
We placed a app order and now have been sitting In the waiting bay for 20 minutes. Order put in at 12.16 and we are still waiting 12.50. Went in and was told that they were busy. Not bloody good enough. The coffee and food we got as we drive through now is cold.not happy pretty poor service. Don't eat there they are hopeless
Due to staff shortages, Drive Thru only from 11:30am I waited 20 mins. The male order taker was efficient and handling pressure well. The red haired female presenter really needs to redo her customer service training modules again, she had no personality and could not even smile or greet the customer. She also looked frustrated that I checked my order for accuracy. I have waited 20 mins, the least she could do was wait 5 seconds. I was in the car park for over 1 hour, on 3 occasions I saw disgruntled customers where items were missing, they approached the doors, and could not be bothered waiting another 30 mins to go back through drive thru. They simple drove off into the sunset in disappointment. During that time, I noticed cars started waiting well over 35 mins. Absolutely ridiculous, just close the store or have mobile app orders only. On the plus side, the fries were fresh. You maybe short staffed, but you can really do much better. The operators for this location should feel embarrassed for providing sub level service even for a McDonald's. Close the Drive Thru and have app only pickup! Parking: Ample store parking
It would really be better if this place closed down during the summer peak season as it can’t cope with the influx of people … it’s not fast food . It can be 40 - 60 min wait .. or out a sign saying how long the wait is .. something needs to change during this busy period as people won’t wait if they know how long the wait will be . If they choose to then that’s on them . Some transperancy will be good
Friday the 30th of December approximately 11am. Walked into the McDonalds for breakfast and ordered at the kiosk. The store was noticeably busy, so had no problem waiting, as a previous fast food worker I understood the pressure. Many of the staff working such as a young boy Brennan? seemed to be feeling the pressure. Manager Sam seemed to have no issue speaking down and berating staff in front of customers for the whole 15 minutes I was watching. Brought down the mood watching this clearly distressed boy be berated by an adult. The only thing that saved this experience was lovely lovely Chris with his extraordinary customer service and attitude, he made sure every customer felt satisfied with their experience. Sam, please take notes from lovely Chris, your customer service and attitude as a manager could definitely use some work, as you work in an industry full of inexperienced teenagers just starting out in the workforce.
30mins in a drive through and no one seemed to care. Ridiculous wait times. Staff when I got to the food window were all laughing and playing around some standing there not being productive at all. Asked the guy if the wait times were normal he said it was because they are so busy. Place was actually quite compared to my local berwick mcdonals which gets you through in five minutes.
My family and I went thru the drive thru and had to wait 32 minutes then we finally got our food. Then they got our order wrong and we had to go back thru the drive thru and had to wait another 32 minutes. And if we went in side it would of been longer. They say fast food but we all know it not. Is the worst maccas I’ve ever been to. The inside of maccas is so gross there is rubbish everywhere and the toilet are a disgrace.
This place should win an award on the longest wait for a drive thru, 11:07am entered the line and it’s now 12:14pm and we haven’t even gotten to the pay window. Public holiday, warm day, put more staff on instead of trying to save money.
