Coaster Take Away

A little family run shop tucks away in a quiet street. We went there for lunch and ordered the Seafood pack, the portion generous for two. The service was extremely friendly, we requested the chips to be extra crispy, shout out to the friendly lady who served us she happily ensured that our chips were extra crispy as requested. The seafood was also fresh and cooked to order. Overall really satisfied with the quality of the food and the service. We will definitely return again on our next trip to Rosebud.

Chips well below average, potato cakes were stuck together and undercooked in the middle, burgers were alright, flake was the only thing that was crispy. $10 chips looked like the same size as two large chips from KFC except cold and lifeless. Overpriced food, rude staff, swearing infront of kids & customers! the food is cooked in dirty oil and stinks… shop is dirty & worst place I’ve been to since new owners took over…. 1/10 and that’s being generous

Used to absolutely love this place when I visited the area but not sure if there’s been a change of ownership but sadly, can no longer recommend. Soggy, over cooked fish and chips which is being kind

Friday 04/11/2022 Went back to Coaster today after 2yrs and it was just as good as it was back then The flake in the 2person pack was simply delicious and as good as I’ve ever eaten anywhere else in Australia. Chips ok, dimsims very good and potato cakes very good also. Cooked really well and very generous size too! Will be back again, even though we live in Mornington and it’s a bit of a drive - but worth it !,

Got the fish and chips. Fish was fresh and for pretty good. Not very clean and tidy, or attentive. No one else was in the store at 4pm.Food: 4/5

Dear customers, due to one person only, arguing about 5.50 of chips instead of 5 didn't want to pay extra 50 centswe have people putting up bad reviews.Dont expect respect when you tell staff do they want tissues for their issues.

Great local and family run fish and chip shop. We stay in Capel Sound regularly and this is our local. Friendly and efficient, and they use chicken salt - BONUS. Others around that are overly busy because they are on main roads - this one is great 10/10 - never had a bad experience. Oh and DELICIOUS.
