Greeted by a McDonalds flag in the wind, Walkworth McDonalds captures true McDonalds spirit check figure 1.1 for reference.nnI did notice a bit of dirtiness - check photos for reference. Which I’d typically give heavy criticism, however the aura emanating from this Donald’s compensated for the grim and fingerprints.nnI ordered the Coke Zero with green pearls. ABSA-FRUITLY-AMAZING. Compliments to the chef.nnAs an avid bird watcher I was pleasantly surprised to spot a view beauties at the Walkworth McDonalds.nnGrooved to some good music.nnI’d say this is one the best McDonald’s in New Zealand, perhaps Oceania. If you’re looking for a good time, this is the place to be. The best part was in truth was the friends I made along the way.nnWill shortly return. Today I took my two young kids to McDs in Warkworth. Ordered them happy meals and then found a table.nnI then noticed at the table next door that the happy meals boxes had a grinch face on it.nOne of my kids finds the grinch really creepy. They would cover their ears and run out of the room just hearing the song, let along seeing his face.nnAnyway, I asked the manager if they had any normal Happy meal boxes because my kid is a little scared of the grinch he said no and I said all good! It is what it is.nnThinking I would just take the food out of the box and discard it when it got to the table, but the manager decided to do this for my kids nnJust wanted to say thank you for being so thoughtful and going above and beyond. Made my day and both my kids thought it was awesome!!
I drove 40 minutes late at night specifically because this McDonald’s was listed online as being open 24 hours. When I arrived, the store was completely closed with no signage or updates saying otherwise. This was really frustrating and a waste of my time and fuel.nThe only nearby place open was a gas station with people hanging around outside, and I didn’t feel safe having to stop there instead.nnPlease update your hours online so customers don’t end up in this situation.
The food is always good and my orders are spot on. What really lets the place down is the cleanliness — tables are often messy with sauce, and the chairs have food spills on them. It’s also pretty unpleasant when staff on break watch videos loudly and shout to each other across the restaurant.
Food ok as usual.nService is not great.nOrdered normal McFlurry without any topping but they served with chocolate fudge that we don’t like.nOrdered as Table Delivery but the staff didn’t deliver but called number out loud, which isn’t an acceptable service.
