Love MacDonakds Glenfield took my Grandchilden for a treat. Customer Service excellent very friendly helpful brought our order to our table. Grandchildren enjoyed their burgers chicken nuggets and drinks. I ordered a Flat white only $3 for Gold Card holders and was excellent coffee. Highly recommend.
Extremely poor experience – deeply disappointing and distressing.nnOn the evening of 30 December 2025 around 7:00 pm, I visited McDonald’s Glenfield with my two young children 8 and 4 years old. They had already had a long, exhausting day and were very hungry, but were initially excited to finally have McDonald’s for dinner.nnAs it was my first time using the McDonald’s app, I went to the counter to ask how to use the deals feature. The duty manager, Loa, interrupted me before I could even finish explaining my question. With her hand on her hip and a dismissive attitude, she rudely asked:n“How can you pay your bill if you don’t have money?”nnI was shocked. I never asked for free food. I was simply seeking help with the app. Being interrupted repeatedly and spoken to in such a disrespectful and judgmental manner is completely unacceptable, especially from a manager of a global brand like McDonald’s.nnI then tried ordering at the self-service kiosk and attempted to use payWave via my phone, which did not work. I went back and forth asking staff for help, but it was clear they were increasingly impatient and unwilling to assist.nnIn the end, I had no choice but to ask a kind Filipino customer in the restaurant to help me by paying with her card, while I transferred the money to her. When I asked Loa to simply confirm the total amount on my order slip, she again interrupted me without listening and responded with a very poor attitude.nnAfter being dismissed and treated rudely multiple times, I said I wanted to make a complaint. No one responded or assisted me, and my children and I were left standing at the counter for nearly 30 minutes.nnOnly after my friend and my husband arrived did Loa engage in further communication. Her initial “apology” was, “I’m sorry, but I didn’t do anything wrong,” which is not a sincere apology and is difficult for anyone to accept.nnMy children finally received their food at 8:30 pm, after being hungry for over an hour and a half. Throughout the incident, they were visibly frightened and distressed.nnMcDonald’s promotes itself as a family-friendly brand, yet this experience made my children and me feel disrespected and unsafe. It is especially concerning that this behaviour came from a manager, who represents not just herself, but the McDonald’s brand as a whole.nnI am writing this review not only for myself, but in the hope that management will take service attitude and staff training at this store seriously. Basic respect, patience, and listening should be the minimum standard in customer service.
Celebrated my son's birthday here today.nWas absolutely amazing. The food was great! The service was amazing. Thank you so much to the staff. Especially the male manager that was wearing specs and the islander lady. Sorry I didn't get y'all names but you guys are so great. Thank you for making this even more easier for me. My son was able to celebrate his first birthday with all his cousins and enjoy his favourite food nuggets plus the playground. That party room is perfect for a group of children!
The fries were packed upside down, and the drink was not filled properly just over half full
Man I just LOVE spending money at this inflated priced McDonald's and then paying even more to upsize to a large, to receive what is basically a medium size. What a joke! What am I paying for in this upsize?? Bigger packaging???
