I used the self service option. Chose an English Breakfast tea and a blueberry and banana bread. Process worked fine, but the banana bread came out cold and un-toasted, which was a first for me. The staff were happy to toast it when I asked. I took one bite and it was inedible. Hard, stale and very dry, even with the butter melted on top. Drank my tea, which was not the best either, then took the banana bread back. I told them that I couldn't eat it as it was stale and hard, to which I was offered a replacement. I turned this down, but was not offered a refund at any time.
I ordered a Caesar Crispy Chicken McWrap, but they mistakenly gave me an Aioli Grilled Chicken McWrap instead. Sadly, the grilled chicken was cold and tough. Though I wanted to return it, my short lunch break left me no choice but to settle for the disappointing meal, managing only a few bites before tossing it out and going hungry.nnMeanwhile, the staff were chatting and laughing, which didn't bother me, but their inefficiency caused a backlog of food at the packing station. Some orders sat there for 20 minutes before finally being bagged, causing significant delays for other customers.nnWith my lunch break limited to just 30 minutes and the combination of inaccurate food, slow preparation, and poor quality, I won't be returning until I can trust to receive a correct and enjoyable meal within that timeframe.
Breakfast at Macca's today was perfect, food was hot, well prepared and staff friendly and professionalnnFood actually looked like the photonnKeep up this standard!
Had issues with my meal. Fries coke, burger & roll saturated fat. Manager could care less. Male managers says thanks for the feedback and that’s that. No attempt to rectify the situation. Avoid this McDonald’s and go to the other in Devonport. Much more professional.
Will never order through here again, useless workers, food all cold and barely prepared properly
