Today I had my lunch at Charnwood McDonald's my first time there at lunch time. The wonderful Staff take my order, and I had the Big Mac and a drink. They have amazing McCafe makes coffee , to cappuccino and cakes and Muffins. You can get ice cream with apples Pies and many more wonderful products. Come in morning for the Big Brekkie Burger, at lunchtime for your Big Hamburger Rolls and Chicken Nuggets also. At dinner have fish Burger , cold or hot drink Come down to meet the wonderful Charnwood McDonald's crew they will do the best service for you and have the right order for you dine in or take away. This year 2022 Charnwood McDonald's made improvements, made a new Playground for the children, as well the service desk.
Ordered a Favourites box asking for the entire meal to be made fresh, the staff checked to see what had recently been cooked and cooked anything that wasn't fresh. The entire meal came out fresh and delightful. Thank you to the staff and manager. The meal was exceptional, for the 2nd time. Kid-friendliness: Has a playground that is visible from inside.
Apparently the store is normally very hit and miss, I don't think I've eaten at this store for a decade. Refurbishment is nice although the door is in a weird spot. Carpark is a bit weirdly laid out with hard to see in the dark speed bumps. That said my burger was a little dry but the fries were hot and fresh and Vanilla Coke scored a 9/10. Just a shame about the loud children who were also eating there and a random fly that had to fly around my table whilst I was eating.
15 min wait in drive through after ordering, only 4 cars ahead of me. The 9 fries in the small order were stone cold. No frappes - ever have tried 5 times from this restaurant. Sauce from burger was all over the wrapper, made it messy and dirty to eat. Just on the environment, overgrown and weedy gardens. The branches scraped my car as I went through. Lots of peeling paint and missing signs. Looks unkempt and poorly maintained. Not what I would expect from this company. Overall another disappointing service from this Macca's.

We drove through drive-through ordered our items and when we got to the paying window we arcs for them to repeat the order and asked for the receipt. Once we got to the next window we checked the receipt before our items were coming out, and all the coffees were incorrect one item not put on the order, so we go into the store to arcs to fix it all up and waited over 40 minutes to get it all right and ready for us to leave. This is including ice cream as well Charnwood I understand you might be having a difficult time but why do customers have to wait over half an hour for three coffees and ice cream‘s to be made step up your game. Very disappointed today. May you guave betters days in the coming future. Dietary restrictions: We asked for lactose milk it was put down as soymilk and then asked for almond milk for a cold coffee and it was put down as a hot coffee with full cream milk
Cardboard food and pure sugar to drink, what is there to like? Honestly AVOID AT ALL COSTS. They can't get even the simplest of orders right and they will question your honesty for asking for food they didn't give you. We got three "meals". I went outside to meet with my new employer and left my nephew and niece to pick them up No fries, and they didn't believe my nephew when he told them, then only gave him two serves. They gave us normal cheeseburgers, instead of doubles or triples as ordered. Absolutely pathetic.
condolences to ex coworkers who nicotine addiction started/is fueled here i dont blame you. stuff every part of this place its awful for everyone; managers, staff, drivers, customers. idk why fast food even needs to exist in this day and age.
I’ve lived here for 8 years and Charnwood McDonalds is my local. Over the past 4 odd months this place has really reduced the quality of their product. Unfortunately I eat here more times than I would like to admit and can say without a fathom of a doubt 2023 has been terrible! I think it’s time to stop buying their product. I’ll come back in 3yrs and see if it has changed.
Had to change my rating from 5 stars to 1 and I would have rated ZERO if I had the option. I was in drive through for 40 minutes AFTER I placed my order. No warning of any kind of an expected delay and I was left in a position where I could not reverse and leave the store. I was literally stuck in the place. Finally, 40 minutes later I was served with a VERY COLD meal. Worst experience ever. Do I want to go back?
