Fantastic fish and chips! Fresh prawns and great service! I’m picky on good seafood and chips after spending most of my life on the north coast always eating the freshest of seafood and for a place that is a while away, they have top quality seafood, fish chips and prawns! High recommend!
Charnwood I do some shopping there and come across a restaurant that sells only seafood , The Bernie's from the Bay, so I go ‍ inside to see what they have for lunch. Wonderful and friendly staff, ask , how I can help you , I say I will have a Fishman basket . Special in seafood , make sure that is all fresh produce that they cook , also the Chips . Fish Burger and Hamburgers also you can have. Come get the Prawns cutlets or Barramundi, and many excellent seafood meals. You can cook your meals at home , they sell Green Prawns, Oysters, Barramundi, and many more Fish and excellent seafood.
This is good fish and chips. It's definatly not bad at all but it's not the best ive ever had. The chips were 4.5/5 and the fish was a bit worse maybe a 4/5. The staff were very nice and helpful giving us a great deal.
An old school fish n chip shop with great, fresh seafood at decent prices. Servings are a good size, too. You can eat at a table outside but there is limited seating. PS: try the oysters and the tasty sweet potato scallops! Parking: Car park is usually pretty busy between 5-6 pm weeknights Wheelchair accessibility: Accessible location, as long as you can handle a somewhat heavy swinging door.

Ordered grilled and crumbed cod. Paid $10 per piece! Not cod at all. Supposed to be fresh but very obviously frozen from Vietnam or somewhere similar. I had been a fresh fish shop owner for many years and know what I am talking about which is why I asked what fresh fish was available when I put in my phone order. Inedible and just completely false advertising. When I called to enquire why I was given frozen fish that was obviously not cod, the girl I spoke to said I would have to catch my own fish for it to be fresh and what I wanted, so they are obviously ripping customers off without any concerns what so ever. Unbelievable and very poor form and customer service. Don't bother. Go to the markets and get your own. I was hopeful that there may have been an honest takeaway that did nice fish and chips but unfortunately these people are liars who have no intentions of serving customers honestly.
