MC Golden Tower

Had been a regular customer since it opened several years when Market City had a huge renovation and the food court moved from top to ground floor. The best pork chop I can say in whole Australia you wouldn’t and can’t find any other pork chop as delicious as here. Everything is freshly cooked and the chicken is crispy outside and tender on the inside. Even though price increase but the quality and quantity still maintain. And it’s a food court there wouldn’t be any service so please don’t be so retarded to expect one. If you want service, pay more and go fine dining instead of eating in food court and yet giving stupid senseless complain.

We’ve just come back here after a several year hiatus and we’re pleased to find it still here! Located on the ground floor as you go up the escalator or stairs from the street of the Market City shopping Centre, located in Haymarket, you’ll find a plethora of food choices. There’s a reason Golden Tower always has a queue compared to the others as it’s food is amazing! And well worth the 7year wait to get here. The staff were really friendly and attentive and paid attention as to who was next in the queue. Once served You have the option of a side rice or noodles and either two or three dishes to go with it. I had 3 dishes and rice as I couldn’t decide on which two! I had salt and pepper barramundi, which was well seasoned and very flavourful and I enjoyed every bite. I also had honey chicken which seems hard to find in the UK and sweet pork ribs which were also really lovely and flavourful. Fully enjoyed my meal here and look forward to coming back again.

Best braised pork belly with fried rice at just 14 dollars and very filling. Very tasty too, as good as if not better than Lilong.Food: 5/5

You need to actively avoid this place, the food quality is terrible, everyone gets charged a different price, I asked for a new egg when the one served to me looked like it was dropped on the floor and the server refused, I asked politely again and he told me to go away. The food I received didn’t even resemble what was on the picture. Just awful. Avoid.

Terrible food. Ordered satay chicken, the sauce was fine, the chicken in it was inedible... it was so fatty that every piece you ate you were searching for the actual chicken and only finding fat chunks. I was so grossed out. What a waste of $18 to only eat rice and a few veggies.

Used to be awesome with good price for portion. Looks like staff has changed, price looks to have increased, portion decreased as per photo. Looks like today will be my last visit.Food: 2/5

Absolutely horrible lady at the counter who yelled at me and said I mucked her round when I asked one question about what I could choose from. Then she didn't fill up my other container which I paid for and yell at me. Very very unimpressed and happy. You don't treat customers like this as I was nice to her. Eaten here a few times. Chinese food with a hot bar selection of 2-3 choices of dishes with rice or noodles or you can order rice or noodles dishes from the menu. Not really expensive can be a everyday comfort feed once a while but a little on the oily side.

I had Char kway teow for lunch $14.00 AUD! The service was super quick, it took less then 10 minutes to cook up my meal! A very hearty and deliciously meal! Service was only average but perfect for a quick meal! Inside Market City food court ground level easy to find!

The woman serving me used a used plate with sauce residue and rice over it, when asking for a fresh plate she put rice on. l said no I want noodle but a fresh plate. She then put noodle as well as the rice. When saying no again she angrily tossed all the food back contaminating both rice and noodle in the bays, still holding the dirty plate she demanded what I wanted next. I simply waked away and won't be back again. When talking to my daughter in law she advised the same thing with the used dirty plate, absolutely disgusting.
