Maylands Peninsula Golf course is a lovely public course on the banks of the Swan River. The course is relatively easy to play and the greens are top notch. The beautiful views of Optus Stadium and the city make it a must play. Each tee box has a plaque with some historical facts that increase your knowledge. Only downside is its very hard to get a booking on the weekends.
Really enjoyed the course, nice quick greens. Lovely food after.
Maylands Peninsula golf course is set in a beautiful setting with amazing views of the Swan River and Optus Stadium. The course itself has wide fairways with rough that is not too rough... Unless you're in the water or rushes that are spotted around the course. The course looks well looked after with good greens. It has been relatively quite the days I've played here which is a bonus. There's a nice bar area to sit and have a beer or wine after a round. Free parking is available and a round of golf is very reasonably priced $22 for the nine holes I played. Whilst I'd like to keep this course a secret so it doesn't get too busy I do have to recommend you give it a try.
My first time playing Maylands. Great facilities and a very fair test of golf. Helps if you can hit it straight! As ever!
Had a corporate golf day on 13th Dec and lunch after. Really impressed with the vegetarian options available, really well thought of, yummy vegetarian burgers and loads of salads. Dessert was a fruit salad with ice-cream with an infused twist of pistachio and rosewater I think. Chef even came out for a chat which was great. Thanks for making the vegetarian options tasty and plentiful
It's a nice course down by the river, no bunkers and the biggest challenge is OB especially along the back 9 or the water hazards. Biggest drawback is play can be extremely slow on weekends lunchtime and afternoon. On multiple occasions I've found myself held up, it's definitely the slowest course I've played on for pace of play during peak times. Early in the day it's beautiful however, just don't forget the deet.
Beautiful course by the Swan River. Friendly helpful staff. Greens were in great condition, for a public course. Just slow play from people infront, holding up precedings, was the only issue...
Playing golf at Maylands is great due to its well manicured greens, it’s pro shop service and lower priced fees… That’s a threat value for money proposition…
Lovely relaxing place to be...and the beer is
Played. 18 mid week. Greens and fairways are in excellent condition. Course management is well done with no forward or aft pressure.
