Story

Set on the banks of the Swan River, this 5,616 metre, par 71 Golf Course is just 10 minutes from the Perth CBD with stunning City-Scape views.

Fresh water lakes and gentle undulations make the golf course challenging and picturesque.

The course is set out on the old Perth (Maylands) Airport and each hole is named after one of Australia’s Aviation Pioneers.

The incorporated Swanbank Bar and Café caters for pre and post game functions.

Maylands is a lovely course although booking a spot can be trying.... playing next to the swan river was an experience. Watch out for the water.

Top course. I hadn't played here since the early 90s and they have turned it into one of the best public courses in Australia.

So sad to see what's become of this once vibrant golf course and facilities. Played Sunday afternoons for over 10 year's and enjoyed a steak and chips after the game. Hopefully it will come back to the way it used to be.

Playing darts unfortunately was in the evening, so was unable to appreciate the venue properly.

One of the best public golf courses. A more forgiving course for pro golfers, great for beginners and the seasonal golfer.

A reasonable course, flat and not too challenging, some water features and on the back nine glorious views over the Swan towards the Opus Stadium and Perth city.

Good course. But you will be eaten alive by mosquitoes.
