Scott and the team at Matterhorn refrigeration, Have been servicing all our refrigeration needs at the Adelphi hotel for the past 4 years. There service and knowledge is second to none. All of the technicians that attend site are very professional and know there stuff. The communication between my self and the team at matterhorne is always open and they are always willing to explain to me what has gone wrong and how they are going to rectify the issue.
I would highly recommend them to anyone in the need of a refrigeration issues sorted.

So here's my experience with Matterhorn.
We purchased a Bromic Cool Room with humidity controlled refrigeration on it and Matterhorn was referred to us by Bromic to do the installation.
After a few hick ups with missing/wrong parts (not Matterhorn's fault) we finally got our coolroom put in by a friendly fella called Graeme. After finishing the work Graeme showed me how to set temp. etc on it and I asked to where I set the humidity at which he looked at me in what I could only call surprise.
Graeme did not know that the unit was humidity controlled and therefore needed to be connected to water... bear in mind here we had hired Matterhorn to do all electrical work and plumbing involved in the job as well. Turns out Graeme hadn't put this unit up before and did not think it would be necessary to read the manual it came with.
They plumber that connected the waste line had already left and Graeme asked me whether I knew a local plumber that could run the mains to the fridge so they could finish the job. He also told me they would pay for the plumber since all work was included in our quote. I gave him our regular local plumbers number, who Graeme instructed as to what work was needed to be done. The Plumber came the next day, ran the mains to the fridge as instructed by Graeme and Graeme then came to connect the fridge up.
All good, so far... until about two weeks later we had a call from our lovely landlord, there was water coming from our factory, and lots of that.
When I arrived I found the fridge filled up with water like an aquarium, with a small hose that obviously poppped of the refrigeration unit (which was put there by Graeme who is also not a plumber btw) going around like a sprinkler destroying all stock we had in there. (Chocolate)
Turns out that Graeme connected the fridge straight to mains pressure, although the manual for installation stated that a depressurization valve should be fitted and even quoted the exact max. Pressure the unit could hold. He would have known that if he had read the manual, but he didn't. Or perhaps if he was a licensed plumber, but he wasn't that either, cause remember the plumber had already left.
So clear case you would think, Graeme's mistake, Matterhorn employs him so it's a insurance matter... now this is where it gets iffy, Matterhorn (or a friendly fella called Ian on their behalf) now was saying the plumber that installed the main was our plumber and therefore had nothing to do with them... Ian was btw also the guy that authorized Graeme to use our plumber to fit the mains and told us he will pay him, which btw they also never did.
Lots of btw's I know.
Bottom line, they refused to accept responsibility, although we contracted them to do all work (incl. plumbing) to commission the fridge. The plumber they used, yes was our regular plumber, but briefed by Graeme exactly as to what to do and should have been paid by them.
So at the end, we, a very small family business are left with a huge bill, damaged stock and building which almost ruined us, whilst Matterhorn is trying to lie they way out of it, with great success, as after the damage bill we wouldn't have been able to pay a lawyer to pursue them.
Disappointing, wrong and very unethical. Mistakes happen but the least you can do is own up to it and rectify the issue.
Shame on you Matterhorn, Ian and anyone else involved in this!

You would have to be joking me!? Matterhorn has done nothing to resolve the issue. My phone calls and emails were completely ingnored. Bromic had to send their plumber out to fix the fridge as they were so embarrassed with your service and our insurance covered the damage. So I'm not sure what you mean by resolved!?
