Highly recommend this place.nnLots of ocean related ornaments on the walls which make this small venue feel quite cozy and homely.nnThe female owner was so warm and friendly too. Most importantly, the food was delicious. Excellent value for money. Get the lemon fish!
Wow, would never travel to Monganui f&c after being here. Best flounder, fish, potato fritters. Also sell kina, raw fish, Rewa & fried bread. Highly recommend and love the red check tablecloths.

Simply amazing fish and chips I had the snapper to sit down or take away in a very pleasant, clean, quaintly decorated restaurant. We found it when driving through, but would 100% eat here regularly if we were local!
My partner and I were visiting from Auckland and decided to stop over and this shop as the reviews were very reassuring, at first the service was lovely and we look at the menu and told the man at the front counter what we would like, I was asking my partner if he’d like to something to drink when I was rudely interrupted by the server saying ‘what drink do you want, there’s other people waiting’ while I was still deciding what I wanted, how rude. Honestly even if the food was okay, the service is definitely a no, thank you.
