Stayed at the Matariki Motor Lodge recently. The room was cleaned really well every day and my stuff was never moved. It’s on a main road but quiet inside thanks to the double glazing. The owners are friendly and leave you to it unless you need something. Beds are comfortable, and the place is wheelchair friendly. Really decent place to stay.

I stayed here last December, and I was genuinely impressed. The property is extremely well maintained, and the attention to detail really shows in every aspect of the unit. Everything felt clean, cared for, and thoughtfully set up - no corners cut. If you’re looking for a solid, comfortable stopover before heading to Rotorua, this place is an easy recommendation.

Price to value ratio is good, toilet and room is well maintained, friendly check in lady and cute dogs

Stayed at Matariki Motor Lodge for four nights in December.nWonderful room. Comfortable, quiet and every feature you could hope for.nVery nice management.nCannot recommend this Motel highly enough.nI will definitely stay here again when in Te Awamutu.

We stayed here for only one night, but the room and service was very good. The room was clean and very comfortable.  Very pleased we chose their motor lodge to stay the night.
