Staff at the Matamata store are very unfriendly,racist,rude,unknowledgeable.nThe store never has any on sale item's or on sale stock available in store as per the Mata mata Countdown online web site.nThe store still has the OLD COUNTDOWN LAYOUT,which is not very ergonomic.nThis store needs to be demolished & rebuild as a Woolsworths store.
They have a great range of all your house hold needs
Cool little supermarket I can still get bargains, I love the fresh veges and fruit, and the meat selection. Something for everyone there go check them out. Car park is little but it's still worth going and looking. The staff are nice and friendly to.
Everything you need, good parking.... except the idiot who blocked the through way...not to worry there's an idot proof double entrance/exit.nExcellent staff backed up by superviser/manager...nHad a minor issue which was resolved straight away in a most excellent efficient manner.nYou all totally deserve a 5star rating.
Needs a huge renovation great people staff just too crammed up both parking and in store.nnAfter 20 years the store still doesn’t have a new upgrade storenOffice crammed, checkouts crashing, not many varieties availablennCEO only is concentrating on the already established new storesnnSmall stores old and falling apart is not priority as it doesn’t bring in profit?!nnThis/every community deserves a good decent storennPeople jump to bad mouth or say service/store is bad but look at the conditions they have to serve you in.nnSomething needs to be done even after a break in nothing was done.
