When I ordered KFC or Maccas at Chatswood interchange, I will notice this Master Yang little Chinese eatery shop next to KFC. I have decided to dine in today and order Chinese pancakes jianbing and wonton soup total cost $16. I also bought Nanru Crispy Chicken rice and Beijing Style Fried Noodles for takeaway. Very reasonable price and delicious food! Good service and nice atmosphere too. Highly recommended. Recommend dishes: Peking style fried noodles, Crispy Jianbing, mini pork wonton, nanru crispy chicken.
I ordered the "Pan fried dumplings" to eat in for lunch because I didn't like any of the other options, so I can only comment on this. This place is a simple eatery with a good number of items on their menu and dine-in option. The prices are very reasonable especially for today's market. However, the dumplings, 12 a plate, were simply the KB brand of frozen prawn dumplings bought in Coles or Woolworths and pan fried. Sure, some restaurants use half-prepared products and on-sell them after cooking, that's fine, you can't expect them to make everything from scratch, but I particularly dislike these dumplings for the incredible amount of ginger and the tiny amount of prawns in them. I recognized the brand immediately, the relentless burning from the ginger and the tiny amount of minced prawns, less than a quarter of a prawn in each dumpling, mostly cabbage and very untraditional wrapper dough. At least buy a better brand of real Chinese dumplings to resell if you don't make them yourself. The good thing is they have self serve condiments and water, and the restaurant is clean and service is nice and they clearly have a loyal repeat customer base. Also, they have a sign for a lunch special for rice and some dishes for around $12 on their hot food display unit, but the actual dimly lit display unit only has several water-bath lids, as if the display hasn't been used for a long time. It makes me wonder what the "dishes" to choose from for the lunch deal, are. Other than that, it's a bit dark inside. It doesn't help that they are at the very end of the Interchange next to KFC, and they can't help their location, so I suggest using some more inviting light inside, especially considering the buffet water bath unit was already dimly lit in the corner.
Perfect spot for a yummy brunch, conveniently located in the heart of Chatswood Interchange.Recommended dishesChinese Pancake
Not bad for a quick feed by the station if you’re in a rush, pretty decent price for their lunch menu
While being there for 20mins was able to see two customers being very unhappy with the waitress for two separate reasons. I wonder how you can be so confrontational to customers and expect them to return. One of our orders were forgotten as well but didnt bother complaining as I saw what happened to others. The food was very bland as well.. note the rice noodles were all broken up on arrival refer photos.
I ordered lunch specials several times at this restaurant, staffs are kind, dishes are not too pricey and delicious. Hopefully, they open on Sunday as well.Food: 5/5
Was greeted friendly by staff and seated immediately. Food was delicious with just the right amount of spice.Food: 5/5
The best rou jia mo I have ever had in my life. Crazy delicious with huge amount of lamb
Delicious food! Surprised to see the bad reviews on here. The business looks family owned, so love that we’re supporting local. Love their Chinese pancake & assortment of other dishes. My partner and I come here all the time. Give them a try!
Food is good, the service not the best but it’s awesome breakfast takeaway as there is limited seats. It’s worth it for the food. It’s not a restaurant more like a small dim sum take away breakfast place. Recommend the mini wonton and lamb pie 15 mins wait.
