I took my first born, at 7.5 months. She was waking up every 45 mins be it day or night. Masada sleep school showed me ways to help her sleep longer. The schedule and methods may seem harsh at first, it's only cause we are not used to it but trust me it works. The 5 days at the hospital were educational and revolutionary, cause that was the first time I had a 8 hour sleep at a stretch!nIt is true when they say that the 5 days is not a switch, it's the 5 to 6 weeks of hard work, repetition and following the schedule that really does the magic. I was too strict about everything that Masada taught me that my husband and I would have arguments on these methods.nEventually he saw the results.nToday my baby is 18 months old, and she sleeps 12 hours at night and a 3 hours nap in the day. She eats well and the best of all she is active during her wake times.nI thank Masada sleep school for making me love my baby and motherhood! I can not recommend it enough! I am forever grateful! A big big shout out to all the nurses, staff who are so patient with all the nervous parents. You'll are doing a wonderful job! Thank you!!
We recently completed sleep training for our 7.5-month-old baby. It is a life-changing experience. The staff are extremely helpful and gentle with their approaches. Each family is guided with routine to fit their own circumstances. Our son is now sleeping in his own bed and has managed to self-settle himself to sleep without his dummies. Previously, we would spend 2 hours to settle for night sleep and an hour to settle for day nap.nnThe room is very spacious and facilities are clean. Catering is amazing with large portion meal. There is always snack in the kitchen.nnThe nurses are angels. They give us so much support to settle our son's sleep routine. We can't say thank you enough to Natalie, Caroline, Patsy, Elka, Deb, Tania, Hewitt, Vonn.nnWe highly recommend Masada for any family who is struggling with sleep routine for your little ones.
My daughter had her tonsils and adenoids removed at Masada private hospital on 16th October. Her surgeon Simon Braham and anaesthetist were great. Masada private itself needs to have a good look at their polices and what they provide. The only contact I had pre surgery was a online admission form that I had to fill out prior to admission. It no where stated that it was compulsory to stay over night with all under 12s anywhere on the admission information. My daughter 10 days before turning 12, and me with a 8 week old baby was informed at 4pm after her surgery that I had to legally stay over night with her. At admission prior to my daughters surgery it wasn't even mentioned. Masada private hospital policy is to provide a recliner for the parent or guardian to sleep on. I have a pre existing back and hip injury and was already struggling. After falling asleep it became a risk to my 8 week old of falling or worse,so I ended up sleeping on the floor with the one blanket and sheet provided no pillow. 4am a nurse realising I was trying to sleep with a tiny baby provided a pillow and more blankets. The floor was carpet and smelt like urine. I couldn't wait for discharge and to get my children out of this hospital, a public hospital would provide much better . One month on I received no follow-up from the hospital, no check in, nothing. I no longer feel confident in having my own surgery at Masada and am now looking for a new ENT specialist so I can have my surgery in the next few months. It's unfortunate as I have been a patient of simon braham for years.nI expected so much more from a private hospital.
Masada Early Parenting centre is an absolute God Send! Honestly they were unbelievable in helping our son with a sleeping routine and getting his sleep back aligned to what it should be.nnThe staff there were so friendly and helpful. Girish was an absolute legend. He explained everything so clearly to my wife and I. He taught us some strategies to help out in the future and just made us feel very comfortable.nnThank you again Masada.
My experience at Masada Private Hospital was very good. I went in for surgery and the waiting areas were very comfortable and warm in the middle of winter. The doctors and nurses were very nice and considerate. The only issue I have had is waiting for them to reimburse me the money they have received from my health insurance. They took 4 weeks to lodge the claim after my surgery. My health insurance paid them 3 weeks ago but they have not reimbursed me yet. My rating would be 5 stars if they didn’t add this stress of having to chase them up.
