Came here after a recommendation from a friend. Unfortunately service was pretty lacking right from the start. There's a sign at the front saying please wait here to be seated... We were ignored until we walked to the counter and got menus ourselves. It wasn't quiet, but far from heaving and there were plenty of staff. Coffee was good and was delivered quickly. The food however took 30 minutes from the time we ordered until the first meal smashed avocado was brought to the table. I had finished my meal completely prior to my partner's meal being brought out panfried mushrooms. In their defence the food was nice, the execution was just really poor. Disappointed.

Super cute cafe with friendly staff and delicious food! Our waitress Alexis was so helpful when I couldn't decide what to choose. I was very happy with my food and coffee. I will definitely be back!
Food was pretty normal nothing fancy, helpful staff. One thing that spoiled mood was glass was stinking as if someone has beaten eggs in that asked staff to smell and their reaction was yukkkk.. Rest food was pretty ok, can be alot better.
Toooo long wait. Like 50 mins waiting for 2 dishes on a Sunday lunch. Food ok. Coffee ok, but it was frozen when my food arrived.
Finally tried out Honey Cafe after seeing it so much on my Instagram!! It did not disappoint, so much choice but had to go for the fried chicken waffles which were sooo good!! Lovely cafe to sit and read my book too as I sipped on my coffee!
Very disappointing. We got cabinet food which we had to wait 35 minutes for, apparently waiting on side salad. When food came out it was cold. Since when do you wait for salad when ordering hot food. I think the kitchen team need some training. Coffee was nice but not very hot. The counter staff were lovely though. Not sure we would be back in a hurry.
27 of us went on a Gold Card Adventure, and had lunch at the Honey Cafe. I had the Big Brekkie, and it was just excellent see pictures on side panel. Service was friendly and efficient. Not bad for a group of 27! Well done, and thank you. Hope to come again.
WWe booked Honey as a “Christmas Thank You’ Breakfast for our clients. Great hosting with their little private room for the 12 of us. Amazing service and food. Highly recommend it for a small gathering business or pleasure.
Quite possibly one of the best eggs Bene in Auckland, haven’t come across better yet.
