Was craving Indian food, specifically vegetarian. I ordered a Dahl with some paneer for $14 on Uber eats, and it amounted to $19. I was completely fine with this. When I went downstairs to get my order, which was meant to share between myself and my partner, I found a tiny little container of Dahl. Basically a snack. It was my mistake for spending $19 on a tiny container of Dahl but omg I expected a share size for two. They did add the paneer though.
A decent indian takeout place in Maroubra. The food options are good and the pricing was good as well. The quality of the food and service are okay. Not a bad place to go to if you have a craving for Indian cuisine. I did have an instance where it's open timings weren't updated correctly on google. The place was closed when it was supposed to be open according to google. I would definitely give a call before visiting next time.
Horrible way to treat locals over charged me for 2 containers plus two pieces of bread. We paid for 9 items & only 5 turned up. They said firm No about getting it fixed. Or delivering the rest of the items. The food was horrible & must be experts at ripping people off & being argumentative. They must be experts at being conning people. Don't eat order this food. They are something they don't care about you. This is reportable to Fair Trading association. As it health safety probably have not being met. Tell me how do they get away from delivering food that is horrible. May their KARMA come as it deserved instantly. You will get sick from eating this food. .
Horrible experience overall. To begin with she had no interest in serving us. The disinterest was visible on her face. We however finishes ordering, we waitied for about 15-20 mins thats when we asked her how long will it be until food is served. The lady said “i have missed placed your order details reorder” This is absolutely the most pathetic.
Not sure why the reviews are so bad. We had a pretty decent, tasty meal. The bread was freshly made for us and delicious. The curries were tasty too, but I agree that they were a bit too watery.
I don’t know why they call it Biryani. I ordered for Lamb Biryani and after waiting for 15 minutes I was brought a mixture of meat and rice with big onion pieces with a lot of oil. No salt, spice or anything like biryani. No one at the front for incoming customers. My 1st and last time here.
The variety of dishes were good and looked delicious in the display, prices $$$ was responsible and the in-store staff was polite.
I didn't think it was possible to stuff up Indian food but this place has succeeded. The worst Indian food I have ever tasted by far. It tastes like packet stuff you can do at home,. The Lamb korma was the weirdest flavour, butter chicken is so sweet, its gross. Even the rice was overcooked. No love or care in this place. I threw out $45 of food and wont be back. Dont waste your time. They are only there because people coming to the beach buy it. The locals won't eat there. Suggestion to the chef, find another job, this is not your calling. Worst Indian restaurant in Sydney.
The worst Indian takeaway ever! Had a lamb biriyani and it was the worst ever biriyani. Wasted over $35 on that and had to throw it away. No flavour or salt. Even the rice was old and didn’t look healthy
Worst service ever, lady is not at all interested in customer interaction
