A fantastic playground of the kids, then at the back there is the trail to walk along. The playground has toilets, a drinking fountain and bike repair station.
What a place! Big grassy reserve with the most excellent children's play area I have ever seen. It's huge, and filled with all kinds of amazing playthings: bridges, climbing bars, webs -- fantastic! And there's a small skate park next to it, and a basketball ring.nnThere's also an oval and bowling practice nets. And, a pretty little community garden.nnBeautiful.
Good playground for young kids as it has fence around n public toilets with BBQ machine. Perfect for birthday party
Lovely park, well-maintained and clean with a large playground for the kids and ample parking. A nice walking/cycling track throughout and plenty of space for dogs off leash. Wonderful experience, though on the busier side — and for good reason!
There is some parking on Victory Boulevard and on Markham Avenue. The playground is a mid-sized thing that's a cut above your average, little suburban thing. There are open areas for recreation and a Cricket club. There's a public toilet near the playground. What I like most about this as someone who predominantly heads to parks to explore/walk is that the Gardiner's creek trail at the back with the Golf Course beside it for some of the way on the other side of the creek to the trail is quiet and a pretty enough walk. It's not really obvious on the map, but if you check out my photos, you'll see what I mean. There is also an off-leash area according to the map somewhere between the playground and the Cricket oval.
