I've only ever ordered their parma with mash and veggies/gravy, so take this review with a grain of salt. Also, i have never dined in and only gotten uber eats from here so i cannot comment on service but the parma is always perfectly made and the accompaniments as well. Their choices of sauces/gravies are also very nice and they have one of my most favourite mushroom sauces from any pub-styled food takeout, period.
Ordered 600grams ribs tonight from Uber eats for the grand total of $36. They had literally no meat on them! This is what I pulled off them. Majority of it being fat. I've ordered these before and they had plenty of meat. Even had leftovers for the next day. So no idea what happened here. Not even sure why they'd even allow these to leave the kitchen. Unbelievable.
We wanted to try something new for dinner tonight so we ordered from Mark's via Menulog. My daughter had the beef burger and I ordered the pork ribs. As they are priced by size, I chose the larger size, as I've been screwed over in the past from other venues that serve ribs and wanted to be sure there would be enough. Dinner arrived earlier than anticipated which was a welcome surprise and when we opened the box of ribs, we both laughed in shock at how huge they were!! This place definitely does not screw you over with portion sizing! On top of that, the taste was divine. The rib sauce alone was incredible, the chips and gravy also better than other chips and gravy we've had before, and the beef burger was amazing!! We can't wait to eat from here again and see what other delicious dinners are on offer
The service is always excellent here and you do get the feeling that you're in a classic, homely family-business type restaurant. The food is generally reliable but can be hit and miss at times. They do certain foods like Pizza and Schnitzel's really well though. p.s. all of the pictures of schnitzel's are different occasions. I've just ordered a lot of schnitzel's from Mark's because they're so good!
Best garlic pizza so is Mark's special pasta. We tried the Pulled lamb pizza it was ok but lacked flavourRecommended dishes
This place is amazing! I have come here to eat with small groups 2-5 people, as well as for larger functions of up to around 20 people. All experiences have been phenomenal. Service and waiters are always great. The meals have always been tasty, flavourful and generously sized. Some favourites are Pesto Chicken Pasta, Crab Pasta, Chicken Schnitzel Burger, Pulled Beef Burger, Pulled Pork Burger, Haloumi Burger and Chicken Schnitzel! Something which is so good is the $10 pizza takeaway deal. Such a great bargain and superb for parties if you need many pizzas! I recommend the Prawns, Barramundi & Prawn, BBQ Chicken & Three Meats Pizzas. Definitely recommend this place and will continue to be a frequent customer into the future!
Haven’t visited Oatley for ages. Very surprised to find such quality restaurant in a local suburb. Such a little germ. Food are very tasty. Will return again for sure. Must try their mocktail!
Don't know what's happened but in the past few months these guys have really dropped off. They used to be so good. Service is poor. Food has surprisingly become poor. Saw alot of customers looking fustrated and disappointed from takeaway and dine in. Meals took forever to come out and it wasn't packed at all only 6-7 tables. Constantly had to reask staff for things. Alot of customers were just getting up and getting things themselves or going straight to the counter to ask for an update or follow up. Thought we'd order some churros, because what else could go wrong? Waited 25 mins for churros that were somehow burnt and soggy at the same time. No sugar on them. We ordered ice cream on the side with them and they bought that our first and by the time churros came it was melted. Friends and I used to love this place, come for all sorts of special events and evening feeds. Will be avoiding for a while.
I have been here before but it has been months. I came here on a Saturday evening to bring a friend to try out for the first time and there was nobody and thought to myself its weird as i have never been here and found it empty. We waited a while for ribs. They came in cold as in really cold uneatable and uncutable. We gave them grace and allowed them toooh up another plate but we'd lost appetite and had to leave.
Great value low key eatery. Wide ranging but pretty safe menu. Pizza's. Pastas, "Pub Grub" style.Friendly and efficient service. Recommended!
