Marion Dental (SA DENTAL SERVICE)

Excellent service & treatment recieved, although wait times can be long. There is also no such thing as equal treatment here as there are 5 groups of people who don't pay for dental treatment, & I only agreement with 1, which is children aged 0- still in High School. I think everyone else Aged/Veterans, Refugees, Aboriginals, Torres Strait Islanders, should all be paying for their own Dental Care. People who are the most vulnerable like People with severe disabilities have to, so why not other's? Plus aboriginals & Torres Strait Islanders always get put ahead of you or go straight to the top of the list, even if their issue is minor. Why is this even considered as fair, & or equal treatment?

Just wanted to leave feedback re: reception. Was called before office hours & tried contacting back but obviously couldn't get through because it was still closed. Proceeded with day and when arrived for appointment was told they had to reschedule as dentist was unavailable that day. Having worked in medical reception myself, if at first I didn't get through I would be required to leave a message, text or try again later before appointment to avoid this. Poor management skills on your behalf.

Absolutely terrified of the Dentist, anxiety goes thru the roof, but I can't praise highly enough how calm, gentle, and patient they are here.

They're paying by government and the student dentist just gaining experience in your teeth no one is controlling there treatments in a person tooth.

I hadn't been to the dentist for 14 years, since I was 12. I had two teeth broken a week ago and was absolutely devastated, and very nervous about going to the dentist. Well, I loved my experience here! the medical student/dentist Zach had great bedside manner, was polite and pleasant and very gentle when he had to prod and probe around my mouth. I even fell asleep several times throughout the procedure. I was there for about 3 hours and now my teeth look exactly as they did before and I couldn't be more satisfied!! I can honestly say I love the dentist now. I'm so happy!

Surprised at the number of negative reviews. I went here a few years back, and found the service fast, efficient, and effective. Excellent public service which is inundated with clients who can't afford the extortionate prices of private dentistry. The only reason I'm giving 4 and not 5 stars is because I've also had private dental.before: the lost star is for the problems on the administrative side, i.e. difficulty getting in and wait times which I didn't experience in private system...a small issue considering the money saved.

Absolutely awful experience! More than one. I was stabbed in the gums repeatedly in my apt and left crying with blood on my face. I was told they don’t take complaints and I would have to fill a form and post it myself. Then out of desperation I took my ASD son yesterday. We were humiliated and my son was traumatised. We were questioned on my sons schooling and NO consideration was given to his needs. He left gagging and crying and had a meltdown. NEVER AGAIN

just like what other people says 'waste of time'. The dentist look at my toddler's teeth for less than a minute and told to go private. If there is a zero star in Google - I would have selected it.

I had to use public service for the first time since school and it's has not improved looked in my mouth for 5 minutes compared to private was there for 30 minutes... just save the money and go private if you can.

Walked in with a hole in a small cavity walked out with a larger cavity during the procedure the student dentist stabbed in middle of tooth with some type of thick metal pick twice insted of using pliers and i screamed in pain she had no idea what she was doing had stop the procedure left side of jaw bone behind left ear temple in greatvdeal of pain anesthesia was injected into wrong areas still in great deal of pain had had multiple teeth taken out before without any problems this probably the most i had ever felt in entire life still in pain even now after 8 panadeine forte
