The Maori Chief Hotel offers you a traditional old style pub, friendly atmosphere and excellent lunch and dinner menu.
Relax by the open fire in our restaurant, enjoy the great view of the city on our roof top deck or just play a game of pool in our front bar.
We have a great variety of traditional, local, boutique and New Zealand beers and ciders on tap.
We have a great pub menu to match our beers with a Different $15 Main Meal option Monday to Thursday and weekly specials.

Having a private function? Whether just social or corporate, we can provide a function room or deck, or even the whole venue to suit your requirements.

They show Super Rugby. That's a big plus in this AFL crazy state, and it may be enough to get me back. The beer... A few choices including some NZ options, which is nice. The food... The second round of sausage rolls not the vegetarian ones was great!
