Manpuku Chatswood used to be my go-to ramen place in Chatswood. During my recent visit, I noticed they have changed the menu and few of my old favourites have been removed. Overall still a pleasant meal - tasty food and friendly staff. There is normally a queue so be prepared to wait. 11/04/2022
Dumplings were very juicy and nice. Spicy ramen had the right amount of spicy mess for me that’s not too overpowering. There is usually a long wait, went around 1pm and waited for around 30mins as it goes by the ticket system. Would’ve been nice for the menu to have some pictures but besides that happy with what was ordered
Setting the standard for Udon. Only downside is there is always a queue. A definite recommend. The pot sticker dumplings are also juicy, crispy and tasty.
Ramen is nice but unfortunately I gave a 4-star rating because they don't take bookings on the weekend and I personally think that's just silly. If you're not patient or in a rush, waiting can take up to 30-45 minutes. The overall experience was still pleasant.
Went there on a Sunday, around 2:30 and there was quite a queue. We waited for around 40mins. You first need to get your queue number on a folder in front of the door and they will call you when it's your turn. The food was good, so far one of the best ramens we've tried in Sydney! It was worth the wait. The staff were all friendly, polite and accommodating too! Go there around 4pm cos it seems like there's lesser people queuing for the restaurant around that time.
We were looking for Ramen place near Chatswood and found this place on google. Since it had the highest rating we decided to pay a visit. We ordered the spiciest Ramen on the menu, Manpuku Red, Karage Chicken and a bowl of rice. The Ramen was not as spicy was we would have loved to but still it was delicious. It has a burnt flavour which added to the flavour and the pork tasted absolutely delicious. Karage chicken and rice is my favourite and I was not disappointed here. Overall very happy and will recommend this place to anyone who wants to try authentic Ramen.
There’s a reason why there’s always a long queue for this restaurant: their ramen lives up to all expectations, and a few other side dishes were surprisingly very good too! Service is friendly and efficient, and it’s nice to note that all the staff were wearing masks and the tables were wiped properly for the next customers. Don’t be intimidated by the long lines, you’ll eventually get a table and understand what the fuss was all about. Recommended!
The raman's noodle, chashu were great, soup's flavour complexities are not quite there yet compared to other places and the soup felt a bit too running not thick enough. Goyza were also great. Overall is ok but i would pass if i have to line up for it.
One of the best ramen in Sydney in terms.of flavour, customer service, price...and especially the restaurant management. Not sure if anyone has noticed how efficient they work in terms of getting ready in serving the table once a group of guests are leaving their tables until the next group of guests sits, it took just less than 30 seconds!!! What an experience lookimg the way they work. How I wish all companies could learn from them the way their team works. Amazing food with amazing customer service and management!
The ramen itself was great. I ordered the signature black and my fiancee ordered a vegan one, whose broth I actually like better. Both are delicious though! My ramen has only a single piece of pork belly meat though which was too little, so that’s the only downside
