Went and saw Cog Play over the weekend, was a great show. The venue itself isn't bad. Three levels and different set ups depending on the show happening. Was $10.50 for a beer but what can you do in Sydney but still ridiculous. Seemed clean and well maintained however.
I’ve seen my fair share of gigs at Manning Bar and it’s certainly a dark horse for one of the best music venues in Sydney. Bit of a tricky place to get to if you’ve never been before, but once you get there it’s all gravy. The sound always travels well and the venue team has always been nothing short of professional. Manning Bar is big enough to get great acts, but still intimate to feel like you’re part of the experience. I’ll be back.
