Amazing venue. Staff in the bar were focused and fast which ensured no long lines! Speaker quality was top notch. Can't wait to come back.

great wee well, medium sized gig space with pretty darn decent sound for its size. drink prices and range fairly run of the mill uni bar styles. due to the layout i generally find it more enjoyable up to three quarters capacity. importantly, staff and security have always been beyond sound to me and anyone i've been with. big ups. never had a bad night out especially when frenzal are playing .

Great concert place, so small you can see great from everywhere, good sound ! In the heart of Sydney uni, would dfntly go back!

Great venue. Excellent layout for the stage, big bar and always a lively crowd. Brilliant, friendly staff too.

The venue itself is good but went there Saturday night to a gig and they shut the bar around 10.20pm, for a gig that went on until 11pm. Also  while open !  the bar only allowed you to buy 2 drinks at a time. Treating customers like children makes for a poor overall experience and is typical of Sydney and its nanny state mentality. I will not be going to any future gigs at this venue.

I thought this was one of the best venues for live music in Sydney but when security does not let you enter because they think you had too much to drink. Although you had a big day in sun and are just just tired. But you already paid $80 for a ticket. Thanks Manning bar and Sydney University union for ruining my night. I will never go there again

Great midsize live music venue, good vibe, solid PA and acoustics. Lovely green room with a view for performers.  Easy load in and out using the elevator.

Went to see Hybrid Theory, a Linkin Park tribute band at Manning bar. Great venue for gigs.

1st time going to Manning Bar for Powerman 5000 last night and I have to say what an absolutely fine performance this was . The venue itself is really nice. What I heard it was recently renovated. Great atmosphere all round. Also awesome performances even the support acts were great. The sound was fantastic. I was up near the side and could still hear everything fine. I would love to come back and see someone else here one day. I've been waiting for PM5K to come to Australia since I was a kid. One of the best shows i've ever seen

This place would be great if it wasn’t so hot. If even the artists are complaining while on stage you should do something about it. Probably not gonna go here in summer ever again to be honest
