Unfortunately, I can’t be positive about my experiences here. The previous owners/management Mankind were stellar. Flawless. Manhor staff try their best but they obviously need more support and the premises needs a good scrub. Sorry very disappointed.
Was left waiting for a half hour after my appointment started, gave up and went somewhere that could be bothered turning up.
Haircut took 15 minutes and seemed rushed. Didn't give me what I asked for - haven't had a haircut this poor since I can remember.
My first experience with Mankind was after a friend gave me a voucher for my birthday. After my gorgeous facial I decided to give the barber a go. I had recently had some terrible experiences with other barber shops, so I was apprehensive but I was on cloud 9 after the facial and the vibe was great. Laura is a miracle worker! She listened to what I wanted and made some great suggestions. I felt amazing and the compliments came flooding in! I have now been seeing Laura for 2 years with no plan on stopping!!!
Amazing staff and service. Not as expensive as you'd expect either
Got home after having my hair cut by Bella to be told by my partner that it's the best one I've had in the 5 years she's known me! I think that says it all. As an aside, I also found the atmosphere inside nice a relaxing compared with the usual hustle and bustle of barber shops.
