Greeted so rudely by the bakla that was working there. Rolled his eyes at me and whispering to another lady in filipino not knowing I can speak and understand the language. 100% do not recommend this place.
Worst customer service from the filipino guy working there with another lady. You should be working and helping out customers instead of gossiping and standing around rolling your eyes at people.
A lot of products do not have prices. According to Australian law, the ACCC states that “grocery retailers must also display unit pricing on their shelf labels.”
I’ll never go back to this store. There were 2 ladies at the cashier and they were busy chit chat. I went there because it’s the closest filo grocery store from my place. I was looking for ube jam and ube flavouring. I found the jam but not the flavouring, so I did ask to one of the ladies. Then the lady was pointing at a small section where there was a stack of food colouring and food flavouring but still I couldn’t find the ube flavour. I asked her again and she said “the one that has ‘violet’ on it”. I was like no, this is not the ube but she insisted me that it was the same as ube flavour Fool me I believe what she said and still buy it because it was my 1st time too so I got lost. It costed like $6 for really tiny bottle. Never again
Very poor customer service. They were busy chatting and no one was even accommodating the customers. I have been to a lot of Filo stores here in Oz and the cashiers are usually very cheerful and polite that's why I was quite disappointed with this one. There was a big "tilapia" inside the freezer which was out of its packaging. Pls check your products.
The staff are unfriendly and unhelpful. Too busy chatting. The business would be successful if they help the ones who pay their salary.
Overprice, no price tags and no itemized receipt. Buy to the nearest chinese shops like tongli a lot cheaper. They sell pinoy product too.
Poor tacky customer service. Products are ok at best. I won't be coming back and have let my family know. Will be sure to spread word beyond family not to shop here. In top of the very poor service I was short changed. Enjoy your little tip from me guys coz I aint coming back. Oh yeah I am of Filipino heritage but grew up here in oz as a baby. This embarrasses me. No wonder why Pamana restaurant in Chatswood didn't last long. Poor service as well as being overpriced. To be honest I only know of this place from my parents and the fact that I live and work close to the shop. Thanks but no thanks. 1 star is quite generous for a rating!
They say they do Ria money exchange but you turn up and they send to another place. We even called beforehand and asked specifically if we can bring money and will they have the right currency and they said yes.
Poor service and the staffs never smile. Too bad Filipinos are known as happy and hospitable people.
