What a wonderful night. The staff were very attentive, we had three different people attend our table at different points of the night. The food was amazing and so well presented, this is definitely fine dining. Being a Saturday night it was a little loud and probably not somewhere you would go for a quiet romantic evening, but it still had a lovely feel to it. There were plenty of gluten free options for meals and a couple for dessert.
A big vineyard near to Perth city that has good wine and beer! Amazing! We had lunch there and I strongly recommend booking in advance. The whole place was full! We were served at our table by an Asian lady who was so nice and helpful! The wine tasting was wonderful and the staff was so knowledgeable!
I haven't really tried any of the restaurants at the wineries but was wowed at what a fine dining experience there was at the Wild Swan restaurant. The service was great and the food was carefully crafted, well balanced and adventurous. Very cool The venison tartare was my standout for the day but they said they will have a new menu next week so you don't have long to try it!
The Tasting Menu @Wild Swan Restaurant is simply to die for! The 6 course food/wine pairing was perfect and the service and atmosphere was exceptional Definitely HIGHLY recommend!! Thank you for a wonderful night
Mandoon Estate is one of favourite local wineries. It caters to a wide range of people from those seeking a fine dining experience, a brewery that serves great meals an area for those who just want a snack and a beer in the great outdoors. It's set on the river and is a very picturesque place. There's wine tasting of course, a gallery and a playground for the kids. We made an impromptu visit and decided on a simple prosciutto buffalo and basil pizza with a beer and a cider. The pizza was excellent with lots of prosciutto and buffalo cheese. It's a great place to explore and walk off your meal too. Highly recommended!
What a lovely stay at the Colony on Mandoon Estate. We sampled everything they have to offer, gallery, tours, tastings, gardens, restraurants and the beer garden. The staff were exceptional, the food and beverages were amazing. Great place for all ages, couples groups and families.
Hit and miss. The staff at the Beer Garden Bar were awful, first kept ignoring us despite being in line behind the register they were serving at, and then kept moving to to other people first who had arrived after, then gave us the wrong drink, and then had to keep repeating items multiple times and still kept on getting missed. To top it off hot food was served soggy and cold despite being told it was fresh. Staff at the restaurant were friendly, quick and at least the food was served hot and fresh!
Loved it here, had a nice lunch, nice spacious property with an outside bar aswell with plenty of seating and grounds that you can wonder amongst the trees and enjoy the river views. Also multiple indoor areas.
Second time visiting here with my partner for a casual getaway. Last time we stayed two nights at Mandoon estate’s accommodation. Wasn’t very impressed with the condition of the room with a lot of dust + some insects flying around in the room. So this time just decided to get some wines their Josip Frontignac is our favourite & chill with the views with beer afterwards. Overall, a good place to chill for a quick getaway from the cbd area & they open till later compare to other wineries for F&B as well so we’d definitely be back.
Beautiful winery! We had the Wine & Food Flight and it was so delightful. Staff were so friendly and accommodating. Loved our takeaway bottle and will definitely be back again soon!
